VCA Elk Grove Animal Hospital

I brought my dog here for an overall physical exam as he was due for one, he was prescribed medication for his teeth and given the discharge paperwork and physical prescription as I wanted to purchase it elsewhere. So I ordered it off chewy and marked that I will mail in the prescription, yet for some reason chewy calls the VCA instead for verification but VCA informs Chewy Pharmacy there is no record of this. I informed Chewy I mailed in the physical prescription, and again they call the vet and informs them there is a prescription yet VCA still tells Chewy to not fulfill the order and that my dog needs to come in for another exam. Firstly why would I pay for another exam within the same year for the same concerns?? I have records and willing to provide to Chewy as well but they didn’t bother and cancelled the order. So now I don’t have the physical prescription and have to pay again get my dog to be seen again. Plain shady

Clients over 20 years with 4 Golden Retrievers. This is the best team! Angela has assisted us wonderfully time after time over the years. In the last year, working with Patrick has been wonderful as well! He’s always helpful, but especially lately when figuring out when to put our last one down. Whether there are tears and no tears, he is always the same; knowledgeable, kind and patient. GREAT job everyone!!

I had my first appointment at VCA Elk Grove yesterday and we left feeling wonderful. Dr Larson and her team were so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They spent over an hour with me going over my dogs’ history, listening to my concerns, doing full head to toe exams, and showing so much love to my two floofs in the process.

Love my furbabies and wouldn't take them just anywhere! I put my full trust in the VCA of Elk Grove to care for our pups. This places is always welcoming, clean, and organized. I never had problems making appointments and the staff is always nice! I highly recommend this place for your pet care needs 👍

I have known Dr. Van Riper and Dr. Armstrong since 1985 and would never take these two beautiful pups to anyone else. Yes, at times it's a little costly but I know that value of good vets and medicine. I have had a few pets die and they were there to help me through the process. I truly am appreciative for their commitment to my pets.
