(from Google)I had to have my cat quarantined for observation after a bite at Animal Hospital of Valley Ranch, and the experience was excellent. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire process. Jennifer and Sarah were especially caring and made a stressful situation so much easier. My cat was very well taken care of, and the pricing was very reasonable. You can’t go wrong bringing your fur babies here—10/10, highly recommend.
I witnessed a squirrel get hit by a truck this morning. It might sound silly to some, but I turned around to check on her. She was breathing but badly hurt and clearly in pain. I googled vets nearby and took her here. The woman at the desk was so kind. She brought a blanket to make the squirrel comfortable (and so I could get my raincoat back since I wrapped her in it). She got in touch with the vet and requested end of life care to put the baby out of her misery. I was prepared to pay whatever they requested just to end that poor squirrel's suffering. They asked for nothing for the euthanasia. I cannot express how much that meant to me. It wasn't my pet. It was simply a living thing that deserved compassion, and this office showed up in a big way. Thank you so much for actually caring about critters. If I lived closer, this would become my vet's office.
The Front Desk staff is wonderful. They genuinely care about their patients and their owners. They are always able to squeeze me in when my senior dog is suddenly ill.
This was my first visit to bring my dog in for basic blood work to follow up on a previous issue. I waited in the room for about 2.5 hours in total and no one gave me any update during that time. I also arrived five minutes early. There was no one else waiting in the lobby, so I am not sure why it took so long. If they were short staffed or running behind, they could have told me earlier or at least explained what was going on. The staff were friendly, but the veterinarian seemed unprepared and not very attentive. Luckily, I was only here for testing and not a serious issue, so I can go to another clinic for further consultation. Still, it felt like a waste of time and money. If you only have individual services or vaccines here without their wellness plan, the prices are relatively high.
I’ve been going here for years. My beautiful black kitty chachas was been a regular here for years all the way to her final day. As devastating It was one of the staff reached out to me informed me of Darla needs a home. She had one of her eye removed but the next day after the surgery, she was ready to play and live. I’m going through a personal hard time but the staff Jennifer introduced me to Darla and thanks to this vet staff and Darla, all of you have definitely saved me. If you worried about your ‘pets’ if they are in good hands or not? Come to this vet. They are in great hands. You will be greeted by two of the official welcoming kitties there.
