(from Google)Five stars to this place .Yesterday along with my wife and son transported our 13 year old German Shepard to this Animal emergency room . We had been there once prior . I walked into the lobby and told the two girls that I had a 13 year old Shepard that had to be put down . Our boy couldn’t get up anymore his legs just quit. They immedialty directed me to pull my car to the front door and offered a gerny . I told them I can support him in . They directed us to a beautiful clean private room with leather chairs . The vet tech came in and offered condolences and explained the procedure and showed me the costs . After signing that they came into the room with a soft bed and blanket to put my Sarge on . They then started an IV port and told us stay as long as you want and ring the service bell when your ready . They then came out with some treats that he didn’t want . We waited around 40 mins and rang the bell . They came in and told us what they were putting into him and that he will go to sleep . It took 3 mins and he was gone . They again told us to stay as long as we want . Two staff members came in and offered their condolences and took our boy away . It was a most dignified way for our loyal boy to go . Thanks again to all the staff I’m sorry I don’t remember your names . Thank you again from the Kamien family .
We took our 6 month old puppy Gizmo to Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville. He had accidently ingested some rat poison. They told us what they would be doing and how they would be taking care of him. Fortunately they were able to take care of him. They were all so nice and kept us informed of everything they were doing. I would highly recommend them.
IMPRESSIVE CARE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I love everything about this emergency care center! My pet recieved immediate care with plenty of time and attention. All of my questions were answered with no rush. The staff are super friendly, genuine animal lovers. They offer a wide range of services at very affordable prices.
This place is absolutely beyond amazing, and for an emergency vet I’d say pretty affordable. I took my 15 year old dawg to get a massive mass on his foot removed Saturday afternoon. They did surgery on him and we were on the way back home less 4 hours later. They asked my budget, I told them $1,500. (I was expecting the visit to be at least 1k). They were very upfront about the cost of each procedure before doing them. My actual cost actually ended up being LESS than the estimate … They didn’t price gouge me & they didn’t run up the bill on me. I left with his surgery completed and 3 different of medications and it was $650. Honestly, pretty dang great for an Emergency. Everyone was so helpful, kind and caring. Thanks to them my dog is sleeping comfortably and I’m sure he’s relived not to have that growth hanging on him anymore.
I will always bring my animals here when I think they need immediate attention. The staff is wonderful every time. Even when I had to put my pitbull Charlie down, the staff remained kind and professional. They even wrote our family a letter too. If you feel like your animal is having an emergency, this is a place you can trust. It’s worth every penny.
