I chose this clinic after searching online and seeing their high ratings, especially since we had just brought a new puppy home. I scheduled an appointment and came in for my puppy’s first shots. Even though I had an appointment, I waited almost an hour before the vaccines were administered. For the second round, I scheduled another appointment. I am always punctual, and for this visit my appointment was at 10:30 AM. I arrived early at 10:20 AM. Unfortunately, the front desk staff told me—in a very unpleasant tone—that my appointment was at 9:30 AM. I explained calmly that I had added the appointment to my calendar as 10:30 AM and had arrived early. I was told there was no mistake on their end and that they could not help me, despite the clinic being empty at the time. I politely tried several times to explain and kindly asked if we could still be helped, but the response remained very dismissive and rude, to the point where I felt I was being spoken to as if I did not understand English. As a business owner myself, I truly believe that respectful communication with clients is essential, and this experience was disappointing. I want to note that aside from the front desk staff member, all other personnel were very kind, patient, and professional. It is truly unfortunate that such an interaction can become a weak point for an otherwise good business.

Our 12-year-old yellow Labrador has been a patient for 5 years. We have always liked this practice, but our visit today was truly above and beyond. Our dog declined very rapidly over the holidays with several falls and accidents, but Thursday evening was horrendous. He had diarrhea and what seemed like excruciating pain for almost the whole night. I was certain that it was his end and that he was suffering from something terrible and terminal. I spent the night cleaning diarrhea and Googling ER vets because King Animal Clinic didn't have any available appointments online. I had already scheduled an appointment online with King, but the earliest opening showed Saturday afternoon. However, a woman called from King at 7am on Friday asking if if like to bring him in earlier. I didn't catch her name, but she sounded like an angel. I explained the circumstances, and she told me to come in as soon as they open. We rushed there as soon as we could, and the vet tech greeted us almost immediately. She was very kind and gentle with us. She listened to all of my anxious rambling about the night prior with compassion and concern. The doctor came in very quickly to look him over. She gave us options, and we decided to try the injectable pain medication and an antidiarrheal medication and see if it improves things. She also gave us a thorough explanation for how treatment would work and what to expect. A few hours after the appointment, and he is sleeping more peacefully than I have seen in I don't know how long. I'm so relieved to not see him looking like he's in agony and for us to have more time with him. Even if this is only temporary relief from his symptoms, I feel like we've been given a second chance with our precious dog. I'm very grateful to King Animal Clinic's staff for being so on top of things. To top it all off, the prices are a fraction of what we used to pay in NJ and MI. Our dog has had a lot of treatment here including surgery, and it has all been very reasonably priced. We love King Animal Clinic and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know.

I have used Kings Vet for awhile and I love seeing Dr. Means he comes in the room and explains things and cares about what is going on. However Dr Kapp is rude and dismissive. She was that way with my dog and again this morning when I came in with a bottle fed kitten that I wanted to make sure he had not aspirated and wanted her to listen to and wanted to ask a couple of questions. However she could not even come into the room to speak to me she had them take the kitten to her and I could hear her outside the door say what I can’t do anything for him. Tell her to keep him warm. I can not believe how unprofessional this lady is. So I will give Dr Means and all the staff from the office to the vet techs a 5 star ever day they are awesome but she gets a zero.

I love King Animal Clinic. The staff and doctors are the absolute best. Dr. Means saved my fur baby’s life and gave her 3 more years, she was 17 when she crossed the rainbow bridge. They give the best treatment without “selling “ you on extra things. Their pricing is reasonable as well. Thank you King Animals Clinic for loving on my fur baby’s as much as I do.

Lovely experience with Em And Em. They were a refreshing ray of sunshine and very helpful. I took Boomer to the groomer and his ears are so much fun to play with
