I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about pet first After being with our previous veterinarian for six years we spent nearly the entire last year going back and forth trying to figure out what was wrong with our dog. We had multiple visits, treatments, medications, and hundreds of dollars spent with no improvement First Pet listened They cared. They were compassionate. They took the time to hear the entire history, actually investigate what was going on, and explain everything to me in a way that made sense. In our very first visit, after a year of trying to get answers elsewhere, we finally had answers and a clear plan moving forward. I cannot explain the relief that gave me. On top of the incredible care, the quote for the treatment he needs was about half the price of what I had previously been quoted. But honestly, even beyond the cost, what means the most to me is how they treated both my dog and me. I never felt rushed, dismissed, or like I was overreacting. I felt heard, and I could tell they genuinely cared about getting to the bottom of what was happening. I only wish I had found First Pet sooner. After six years with another practice, one visit here was enough for me to know we had found our new veterinary home.

After 12 beautiful years we had to put down our beloved dog Sofia. It was a difficult decision, but the staff here at Vet First were so kind, gentle, and supportive. My love was treated with such dignity and respect. The doctor was honest and helped us to weigh quality of life. In the end, the process was heartbreaking but beautiful. Everyone at PetFirst is welcoming and kind. The front desk staff, the technicians, and the vets are all great. They have provided wonderful care for both my dogs and they are very patient with my dog Toby, who is quite stressed and difficult at his vet visits. Toby recently had a surgery with Dr. Viviano (who I love) and the care he was given wonderful. Toby and Heidi highly recommend PetFirst.🐾🐾

We have been going to see Dr. Twilla and her staff for the last 9 1/2 years. We have never had a bad experience with anyone or anything. We started out with one dog and now we have six chocolate labs. We have always been treated with kindness and comfort. All of our dogs and cats have been treated here at one time or another. I would and have recommended Pet First as the best Veterinary Hospital around. We live in Port Richey and travel 30 minutes to go there because of the great care, service, and cost savings. By far the least expensive and the best care. We're moving out of state and we will miss everyone there. Thank you all so much for everything through the years!

I’ve been to several different vets throughout the surrounding area, and I have found this location to be far and away the best operation in town. They are empathetic, they are kind, they have been reasonably priced, and have an incredibly talented, professional, and friendly staff. I would highly recommend them. I won’t go anywhere else. They’ve earned it.
