Best Friends Animal Hospital and Surgical Center

My cat recently had a surgery there done by Dr. West and I couldn't be happier with the customer service before, during and after. I was nervous about the surgery but the care of the team put my mind at ease. After bringing my cat home, I had some questions regarding his aftercare and I called the office on two separate occasions and they were super pleasant and nice and didn’t make me feel like I was bothering them. I will definitely be bringing all of my pets here and would recommend others do the same.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Drz West and her team! They have provided phenomenal care for both my cats and my dog, and I am incredibly grateful to have found a person/practice I genuinely trust with my pets. From the moment you walk in, it is obvious that they truly care about the animals and the people who love them. Every interaction has felt compassionate, thorough, and personal. They take the time to listen, explain what is going on, answer questions, and make sure you actually understand your pet’s care rather than rushing you through an appointment. What stands out most is that they never make me feel like they are simply trying to sell me another test, treatment, medication, or service. Their recommendations feel thoughtful and genuinely centered around what is best for the pet. You can tell that their priority is providing excellent medicine and helping both the animal and the owner—not just making money. They have been wonderful with each of my pets, treating them as individuals and making an effort to keep them comfortable and as stress-free as possible. I also really appreciate how respectful they are of the owner’s concerns and how willing they are to work through options instead of making you feel pressured. Dr. West is kind, knowledgeable, patient, professional, and incredibly compassionate. It is such a relief knowing that when one of my pets needs medical attention, they are in the hands of people who genuinely care about their well-being. Dr. West came highly recommended from a friend and I’m so grateful for the care she has provided. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a veterinary practice that combines excellent medical care with genuine compassion, integrity, and respect for both pets and their owners. Dr. West and her team have been amazing for me and all my pets! She listens through my concerns and provides all available options. I also love that this hospital donates their time and resources to give back to the community by having low cost spay/neuter events. I initially took my cat to urgent vet and they recommended me to bring her to a primary care hospital that can do surgeries, after calling Best Friends Animal Hospital they got me in the same day and even performed the tooth extraction on my cat Tabby I later picked up tabby and she was in great care! They also took care of my dogs for their annual visit it was very nice to get them all done at once and especially on a weekend. They did a wonderful job and were very friendly with my dogs and cat! Shout out to Kelly for her help and care also the team that make this possible!
