Hughes

Having owned dogs for an extended period, I have frequented numerous veterinary clinics. We attended this particular vet shortly after relocating to the area. Dr. Hughes demonstrated exceptional knowledge and a non-pressuring approach. He promptly identified my dog's condition and provided a comprehensive explanation. I wholeheartedly endorse this veterinary practice.

I have used Dr Hughes for about 14 years. I have brought him my dog and reptiles. He is awesome. Extremely fair and clearly not in it for greed. He cares deeply for animals

He is exceptional. Dr. Hughes took in an injured cotton tail in urgent need of medical attention. He truly cares deeply for all animals and is knowledgeable with exotics like bunnies which is EXTREMELY rare.

My mom took her Pomeranian to Dr. Hughes for 14 years since he was a baby. The only vet she used. He never really got sick until 3/17/26. Needed to be seen asap. Was told they were booked and would not be able to get him in until the following week which would be 6 days from my call. This turned our world into total chaos. We were loyal to Dr. Hughes, where is his loyalty to his customers. He needs to create a couple of appointment spaces into his day to accommodate these situations. Ended up going to 3 vets to finally put him down due to Kidney Disease. The little dog suffered. I'm not the only person that has ran into this problem with Dr.Hughes. It doesn't matter how long you have taken your pet here, your not going to get in no matter how sick your pet is until there is a next available appointment. Make sure your vet has same day appt. The cost of taking your pet to these walk-in clinics and hospitals for pets is double and triple the cost of a regular vet.

As a very careful pet owner, especially when it comes to my bunny, I had a great experience with this office from start to finish. From my initial phone call, the front desk staff were helpful, kind, and accommodating, and they were able to fit my rabbit into the schedule quickly, which I truly appreciated. I brought my rabbit, Lily, in due to a bladder stone and was understandably nervous about surgery on such a small animal. After meeting with Dr. Hughes and discussing the procedure, I felt confident that she was in good hands. He answered my questions clearly, was patient, and made the entire process feel organized and professional. It was especially reassuring knowing that Dr. Hughes has owned rabbits himself, as rabbits are often misunderstood as pets. Lily’s surgery went smoothly, the pricing was very reasonable for exotic animal care, and the overall experience was excellent. This will now be our veterinary office for both of my rabbits and my senior dog. I’m very grateful for the care we received and would highly recommend Dr. Hughes and his team. **PS:** Based on my experience, Dr. Hughes deserves five stars and a 5.0 rating
