Incredibly overpriced (quoted just under $500 for the initial visit), mind you this is a first visit wellness exam, and then you can’t be in the room while he examines your pet (never had this happen before), and finally an hour long sales pitch about the supplements they sell before you leave. Called once and couldn’t get a straight answer on how many calories a moderately active, 3 year old German Shepherd that weighs 85 Ilbs needs a day from the condescending office manager. We were already considering looking for another vet but tried calling once more, thinking maybe we caught them on a bad day, and told them our dog was violently shaking the night before during the thunderstorms and is there something they could give her. The doctor calls back and says give her Benadryl and that we aren’t a good fit, like we are bothering them. The one thing I do agree with him about is that this isn’t the place for us or our pet.

My long time veterinarian. I've moved away from the area, but I'll continue to make the drive to bring my (rather large and unruly) dog here because they truly care about each and every animal. They've assisted several of my long-lived and long-loved pets to the rainbow bridge.

This is a really great place to take your pet. Dr. Smith and his staff are great. They are friendly, polite and very helpful. The doctor has outstanding "bedside manners". They care about your pet and you can feel it. We have been going there for many years. I highly recommend this facility. 6 stars

I only have wonderful things to say about Dr. Smith and his lovely staff!! They took such wonderful care of my babies, and handled them with such gentleness and care. Dr. Smith is so passionate and knowledgeable about Veterinary Medicine, it was so refreshing. He is so happy to break down everything and took the time to talk about each of my individual dogs. Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had at a vet. The appointment ended with all of my babies falling asleep while Dr. Smith took the time to not only explain WHAT he recommended for each of them, but WHY. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I cannot say enough about the staff and Dr. Smith...absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately i had to put my Chocolate Labrador Lax to sleep yesterday...it was so incredibly heartbreaking but I cannot express the gentleness, compassion and love they gave to me and Lax which made this so much more easier...not only that, I came home from work and this was at my door😭😭...how incredibly thoughtful and heartfelt!!! I hope if you have a pet you go here...thank you from the bottom of my heart Curlew Animal Hospital
