(from Google)I took my cat in to this location for what turned out to be a UTI, and it was a really good experience. The tech. I think, Jamie?, was super sweet with my cat and helped her feel more comfortable in the unfamiliar environment. The cost was straightforward and overall reasonable, and they didn’t push me to spend more. I’ll definitely go back if necessary.
I cannot express how appreciative I am to have your facility so close by and open on weekends. Nicki was super thoughtful, friendly, and sweet toward my pup Zeke. Ryan was helpful and kept me updated since things were busy, and they were short staffed. Appreciated being kept informed. There was another tech/nurse that came in and reviewed the recommended tests. She was helpful about filling me in on how long everything would take and recommending how I could use my time during the interim. The medicine Dr Valentine prescribed is already working. I’m appreciative of the time he took to review all of the results with me. I also like the visual charts to quickly glance at the results to know where to focus my attention. He answered all of my questions and was patient and kind. I’m very appreciative of the care you showed my pup and me.
This was my first visit to UrgentVet, and it truly was the best experience I could have imagined. I reserved my spot online and, when I arrived 10 minutes early, I was immediately greeted and taken to a room. Nikki was the tech that assisted me, and I cannot express how AMAZING she is!! I am a new cat mom, and I had many, many questions. Nikki was patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I left feeling confident with my next steps in caring for my cat. I came back two days later because my cat was still not feeling well, and Nikki was there again to save the day! I felt overwhelmed by what I had to do to help my cat feel better. She and the vet were considerate and recommended that I go directly to the ER for fluids, but she started eating and drinking when Niki offered her food and water. I took my cat, Clara, to the regular vet the next day, and they recommended she also go to the ER. While I was at the vet, I got a call from UrgentVet. When I picked it up, it was Nikki checking to see how I was doing!! She did not have to do that, but she went above and beyond to make sure both Clara and I were doing okay. Clara ultimately had an internal obstruction and required surgery to get it removed. She had the surgery yesterday and returned home earlier today for recovery. Thank you, UrgentVet, and especially Nikki, for helping out during this stressful situation. I will definitely come back (though hopefully not anytime soon)! Nikki, thank you again!!
Wow! What an amazing staff! They were so welcoming and knowledgeable. I so appreciate the time they spent with my pup and helping me understand the treatment plan that was best for her and that would fit my financial limitations. This will always be my first choice for any emergencies my pups face in the future! Thank you to the staff for guiding me to make the best choice for my girl! ❤️
First time at UrgentVet in Carytown, sadly not my first experience with Vet Urgent Care or VET ER's. My normal Vet UC had already closed for the evening, but luckily UrgentVet is open until 11. Was able to reserve my place online and was greeted quickly on arrival. Staff all seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. Was in and out fairly quickly, with them giving us the escape for a bit while blood work and care was preformed. Received a text when they were ready for us to pickup midnight and had all the treatment procedure explained. Received the discharge paperwork and detailed payment receipts quickly, making pet insurance payouts smoother. Cheaper and faster then VET ER, and glad to see so many Vet UC places opening up in the Richmond area. It's nice to be able to get care when needed for pets. Highly recommend and would gladly return when,/if that needs arise.
