(from Google)Wow! Cannot share enough great things about this place! Dr Setzer and the entire staff are so incredibly caring, thorough, and timely. I got a new kitten 2 weeks ago and they made the entire process of getting her under care so easy. From the second I walked in, I could tell that this is a place that puts animals first. I had such a great experience that I brought my other 2 cats in and they were able to squeeze me in on the same day! Prices were great, again staff was amazing, and other clients coming in and out seemed so impressed and happy. You’ll have patients for life! Thanks for taking such great care of my furry family 💕 - Tab & the kitties (Mikasa, Migi, and Smudge)
I have been bringing my pets to Leslie Animal for about seven years, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Recently, my cat became very sick and sadly passed away. From start to finish, every single person — the veterinarian, the vet techs, and even the front desk staff — was incredible. They treated my cat and my family with compassion and care. They even lit a candle during my cat’s final moments, which was a beautiful, touching gesture. It meant so much to us during such a difficult time. If you are looking for a veterinary office that provides not just expert care, but also a truly personal and compassionate touch for your beloved pets, this is the place.
I would give Lesslie Animal Hospital 100 stars if I could. Yesterday my mom called me frantic because our Golden Retriever had swallowed a ball and began choking, she called another local animal hospital who turned her away because they were closing in 20 mins, and they advised her to come to Lesslie. When my mom arrived at Lesslie they too were closing soon but she ran inside to let them know what was happening and they all jumped to action, 3 individuals ran out to grab her, one man scooping her up himself and taking her inside. Dr. Dixon then was able to quickly sedate our dog to then be able to get inside her mouth to get the ball out. He said that my mom had gotten there just in time. We cannot say enough about the team at Lesslie and their quick response and willingness to help. If it weren't for them, we may not have our baby anymore. They were all so caring, consoling, and unbothered by the fact that they were within minutes of getting to close their doors for the day. This team seems like an all-around stand-up group. Scout, my mom and I are very appreciative you all and we know where to go if we ever have needs for our pets. Although they are not an emergency clinic, they handled our emergency with ease.
I’ve been coming here about 2 years now and from day one the ladies up front have became family. From text reminders to friendly conversations and advice. The doctor is quick and hardly keeps me waiting. I’ve brought several animals and recommended a numerous amount of friends to this location. They know how much I deeply love all my frenchies and they even get in the floor to play with them and take pics etc. dr seltzer couldn’t have asked for a better team!
I have read many of these reviews and find most of the negative comments very hard to believe about this office. I am a true animal lover as we own five. Dr. Setzer and his team have cared for all of them through health and emergencies. He helped us through trying to save our beloved Pittie Dak and his office supported us through the year after we lost him. Dr. Setzer never once diagnosed him with cancer but recommended tonis when it was time for us to take him to a specialist if we wanted to pursue further treatment. He always takes the time to explain all options. He treats both of our “special” English Springer Spaniels Finley and Tucker and our Boykin Harper. He has made special accommodations to see our old girl Kylie who is a Lottie also. He knows them all and spends time talking to them and playing with them. Our boy Finley is nervous and can bark like a foghorn but they have never just muzzled him prior to seeing how he reacts to them because he will let them work with him if they approach him and he does not bite just barks. I have owned many dogs over my life and went to many vets and this team is top notch. Now do people make mistakes absolutely but if you want truly caring individuals who take time to know you and your pets this is your team. And if Dr. Setzer doesn’t know what is going on he will recommend what he thinks is best but he never tells you what to do. He delivers hard news in a compassionate caring way.
