An outstanding breakfast full of flavor and highly enjoyable self serve coffee bar.

We ordered two big pieces of triple-tail to cook at our home on North Captiva Island. They were delivered and wrapped perfectly. And, oh my goodness they were so fresh! We just put a little salt and pepper and garlic, because we did not want to adulterate the taste of the fish. It was exquisite!

What a gem this restaurant is! We were warmly welcomed when arrived. Nicole very helpful when making our choices for lunch. It wasn't only the staff and excellent food that makes this restaurant special. So many friendly folks dining there. One even helped clear tables during a busy time! We loved this restaurant and will return when we are in area.. You made our lunch very special!

Had breakfast there, the food was good, sevice was good. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was due to self serve coffee & the atmosphere is dominated by touristy island stuff. I would go back again, the shrimp & grits was good.

Salty Girls Island Cafe is a hidden gem that transforms dining into an experience filled with warmth and joy. At the heart of this charming establishment is Lisa, the owner, whose extraordinary culinary skills are now more prominent than ever. With recent changes in the kitchen, Lisa has admirably stepped up, masterfully handling the dual roles of chef and owner. Her dedication to crafting each dish to perfection is both inspiring and heartwarming. Complementing Lisa’s hard work is her daughter Nicole, whose efficiency and warm smile make every guest feel like part of the family. The love and commitment from this family duo create a welcoming and delightful atmosphere that resonates throughout the cafe. Our visit was nothing short of remarkable. The blueberry pancakes were a dream come true - fluffy, bursting with flavor, and served in generous portions. But the true culinary masterpiece was the biscuits and gravy. It stood out as the best we’ve ever tasted, a perfect harmony of flavors that left us both in awe. The steak, alongside perfectly seasoned potatoes and over-easy eggs, was another highlight of our breakfast. Each element of the meal was prepared with care, reflecting the skill and passion behind the kitchen’s offerings. Though it’s a 30-minute drive on a good day for us, Salty Girls Island Cafe is well worth the journey. The outstanding food, combined with heartfelt service, ensures a memorable dining experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to this delightful cafe, where every meal is prepared with dedication and served with a genuine smile and love.
