(from Google)Stopped in on a whim while waiting to check in to our Airbnb - so glad we did. The atmosphere was a great start to our vacation. $6.00 Margaritas was phenomenal and heavy poured on the tequila! Nachos and tacos were fabulous. The best part was our welcoming, kind, funny, attentive server/bartender Baylardo! He did it all and did it well, including memorizing all 8 of our names!! I highly recommend this cantina to everyone in the area! Definitely worth the stop!!!
Salty Lime Cantina was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere had the perfect mix of laid-back cantina vibes and energetic fun, making it a great place to relax, enjoy amazing food, and spend quality time with family and friends. The restaurant itself was clean, welcoming, and full of personality, and the staff made us feel right at home the second we walked in. The food was incredible. Everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The fajitas arrived sizzling at the table and smelled amazing before we even took the first bite. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and paired perfectly with the grilled peppers and onions. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked with care. The tacos were another huge highlight. They were loaded with toppings, full of flavor, and had the perfect balance of textures. Every bite tasted authentic and satisfying. The rice and beans were also surprisingly flavorful instead of just feeling like side dishes thrown onto the plate. Even the chips and salsa were fresh and addictive. And the margaritas? Easily some of the best we’ve had in a long time. They were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and generously sized without tasting overly sugary. They paired perfectly with the food and really completed the whole experience. One thing that stood out was how enjoyable the overall dining experience felt. The presentation of the food was excellent, portions were generous, and everything came out quickly without feeling rushed. The staff checked on us consistently, stayed friendly the entire time, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The food, service, and atmosphere are great. We have visited this restaurant many times before , and taken visiting family and friends to Salty Lime for years. Recently, however, prices have increased and proteins that were once included are now marked up as is more than one flavor in a margarita. Also, a 20 percent gratuity is now included in the check. The gratuity is fine as long as the service is good, but I like to have the choice to tip based on service received. We also were charged a service fee for using a credit card. My husband and I felt very nickeled and dimed which made a good experience no longer feel good. We will likely not be returning for dinner, but may return for a happy hour margarita.
reviews·1 photo a minute ago New Lunch | $20–30 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hubby had been here several times and we decided to have a relaxing Friday late lunch. We were greeted with a warm smile by Baydiardo. The breeze was blowing and the cloud cover was perfect so we decided to sit on the patio. The atmosphere, a stone’s throw from the ocean, with palms swaying and the sound of happy people chatting over margaritas truly made us feel as if we had stepped into a vacation. The margarita & sangria menu called my name, as hubby & I read the regular menu (a page cleverly attached to a wooden cutting board (?)). Danielle welcomed us and asked if we had any questions. She said she would be right back with fresh chips & salsa. Right back she came with a large bowl of fresh chips & salsa. As the margarita menu had a “create your own” option (Endless flavors & possibility) I asked for a spicy regular margarita on the rocks, salted rim. She asked if I’d like tajin-as I had never had it, I said, “Yes”. Danielle said, “I think you’ll love it”. We also ordered lunch: Hubby ordered Carne Asada tacos and I ordered Hawaiian Brian tacos (chicken tinga with pineapple). The margarita was THE best spicy I have ever had-Tajin made it “pop”! (The generous regular no extra charge 2oz pour did not hurt) Our lunches were delicious!!! The entire experience was a genuine delight. Baydiardo and Danielle were a breath of fresh air: truly happy and engaging with all the patrons-like the restaurant was their home and the patrons were invited guests.🥰 I can’t wait to return with friends and family.❤️
Five stars isn't enough for The Salty Lime Cantina! 🤩 We've been multiple times and keep coming back for more. The island vibe is on point! Love the inspired decor and lively atmosphere. But the real stars are the servers, Danielle and Michael! Their service is top-notch and always make us feel at home. One HUGE bonus, our dog loves the deck & they've always loved him too. Now, onto the food... 🍴 Taco Tuesday is a game-changer with those $2 veggie tacos, and happy hour margaritas for $5 are the perfect deal every day. ($6 for my favorite flavor, MANDARIN!) 🍊 Can't go wrong with the burritos, enchiladas, and their (WARM!) fresh tortilla chips either. Fresh ingredients, great prices, and a margarita selection? We're hooked! 👌 Highly recommend for a solid Mexican fix in Palm Harbor!
