The Ozona Pig

My mom and I were shopping and we were hungry after. Lol and behold , The Ozona Pig right next door! We ordered and out food came out less than 5 min after. Their house made sauces were tasty and I tried all three on my pulled pork sliders .

Food was good, place was busy. We sat outside. Could have used a few more fans to keep air moving and bugs away. People drive too fast in the driveway coming in and leaving, causing alot of dust. So I would not recommend sitting in those benches near it. The burger, pulled pork, stew and wings were all good. Fries were made fresh and not the bagged frozen variety. Would go again.

The Pulled Pork Plate was Southern barbecue done exactly the way it ought to be. A massive heap of hand-pulled pork, smoked low and slow until it practically fell apart on the fork — tender, juicy strands mingled with crispy bits of bark that delivered that deep, smoky, caramelized flavor BBQ lovers chase. No need to drown it in sauce; the meat stood proudly on its own. The baked beans were thick, rich, and molasses-sweet with a savory backbone that tasted like they’d been simmering all afternoon. The coleslaw was crisp, cool, and creamy with a peppery kick — the perfect palate-cleansing sidekick to all that smoke. And the deviled eggs? A charming Southern touch — creamy, well-seasoned, dusted with paprika, and gone way too quickly. The Shrimp Po’ Boy stole my heart on the second plate. Plump, juicy shrimp grilled on skewers and brushed with a light, slightly sweet glaze, piled generously onto a toasted hoagie roll that held its structure beautifully. Each shrimp had that lovely char-kissed flavor — sweet, smoky, and tender. Alongside it came a heaping pile of hand-cut fries that were everything fries should be: golden, crisp, and unmistakably real potato. The mashed potatoes were rustic and homemade with the skins left on — simple, buttery, and seasoned just right. And that little cup of creamy, slightly spicy remoulade on the side? Liquid gold. I dipped everything in it, and I’d come back for that sauce alone. The portions are massive, the prices are fair, and the staff treats you like a neighbor. The Ozona Pig isn’t trying to be flashy — it’s just trying to be good, and it absolutely nails it. Whether you’re craving smoky Southern barbecue or something off the seafood side of the menu, this place delivers comfort food at its finest. If you’re in Palm Harbor or anywhere along the Pinellas coast, make the drive. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit

Have not visited for some time, no reason. The service, the food and atmosphere was amazing. Ribs, pulled pork, pulled beef, brisket, cheddar burger. Whatever you pick, you won't be sorry. Come hungry if you intend on ordering a plate. Corn on the cobb, fries, and much more

Wow! Coming from the Midwest, BBQ has been hard in FL. Ozona Pig exceeded expectations and I can’t wait to go back! It was just like home. Sunni was our bartender and such a delight! Loved the brisket nachos, fries, and baked beans most. Great ribeye and ribs too. Top notch for atmosphere, service and food!
