Fantastic place! The staff is genuinely friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. They show the World Cup games, have live music, and there’s outdoor seating where you can smoke. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and have a good time. Highly recommend. Im there every week.

I’ve been coming to Independent for all three Brazil 🇧🇷 World Cup games, and every visit has been fantastic. We’ve had both food and drinks each time, and the service has been outstanding. We especially appreciate the team reserving tables for us and helping create such a great atmosphere for the matches. I had to leave a review today because I just tried the Chimichurri Schnitzel Sando sandwich special, and it was hands down the best thing I’ve eaten here so far. Absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and something I would definitely order again. Great service, great food, and a great place to watch the games. Highly recommend!

In Tampa for work so I searched this place up randomly. Very pleasantly surprised! I tend to eat a little bit on the healthier side so the cucumber salad was a nice offering and it's delicious. But I would have to say the potato salad is the most unique dish that I had. Served warm with bacon and caramelized onions. The bratwurst was my main dish, and while it was good I would personally prefer it more golden grilled toasty style but still very good most likely boiled. There's no condiments on the table and you don't need any! The vibe is laid back easy breezy non pretentious.

We stumbled on this place looking for an open place on New Years Day for Brunch. Independent did not disappoint! Really nice selection of beers,cider,sours, wine,mimosa bar, ..I'm sure I'm leaving something out..lol They had a very delicious NYD menu and it tasted soo good. Like secret little hints of flavor that you can't quite place your finger on it with such a good flavor blends. Mmm. Relaxed, calm and dog friend atmosphere with a guy gently strumming out songs on a electric guitar to set the laid back vibe. Chris was our bartender/server and he has so helpful with suggestions that were on point. Check this place out if you haven't already!

Independent Bar will ALWAYS be my go to for the BEST and CONSISTENT oooey gooey grilled cheese sandwich EVER! They didn’t disappoint me on this cold 🥶 Tuesday afternoon in Tampa! Thank you Independent Bar for helping me get through this groggy mid holiday week 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
