Alafia River Beer Shed

This was my first time here. The view is nice with the Alafia river right there and watching the various boats going by. They don't offer table service, there is a window to go to for drinks or go inside and a food truck like bldg for food. The food was excellent, my sister was visiting from PA and wanted gator bites while here. I got a grouper sandwich tator tots and cole slaw. The bites was a half pound, so good serving size, she also got the baked beans and said they were good. My grouper piece was a tad small but delicious with an abundance of tater tots. The slaw had a lot of celery seeds but still good. I would go there again. Oh, just so you know, they allow smoking inside the bar, so you have to go through it to use the restroom.

Very chill. Ordered a grouper sandwich and okra and it was so good. I spent 40 bucks for food and drinks and I paid for myself and a friend! Sat and ate right by the water and drinks are super cheap. Will definitely be back.

We come over here since we were in the area. Awesome little spot. The bartender was super sweet. The beer was ice cold in a nice ice cold mug. The scenery was beautiful and the people around you were super nice. We did not eat but will come back to check it out in the future. We even had a little bit of entertainment 😂

We are traveling and had this place on our list to visit. Had Jai Alai beers in a can (craft is important to us). Came on a Tuesday at 6. Good and affordable ($5) beers. Ordered the smoked, rubbed wings with jalapeño ranch sauce at the recommendation of the sweet woman working the grill. The views are awesome, the food is good, great prices and the music - ahhhh… yes. Checked my receipt. Be sure to ask for the Tuesday Happy Hour $2 off starters. Not worth arguing, but... Come here, you’ll be glad you did,

Great dive bar down a dead end road on the Alafia river. Bikers and boaters welcome. Live music, ice cold beer and plenty of tasty bar food. Very friendly crowd. No dogs.
