The Wooden Spoon Diner

This is a reasonable breakfast and lunch cafe. The menu is large, they have lots of options. The service was okay, a little slow at the start, and a little less than attentive throughout. I’m not saying that they weren’t trying, it seems like they were under staffed and had too many tables for each server. The place is a little too crowded with tables, it is difficult to walk around because of the lack of space between tables. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but it seems as if it was rushed a little. The eggs weren’t cooked to the level requested. I requested over medium, but they were barely over easy. The hash browns were asked to be extra crispy, but they seemed a little underdone, let alone crispy. The flavor of the food was okay, the pepper gravy was good but personally I thought it needed a little more pepper, but that is my preference. So, in general it is a good place, maybe a busy day where things weren’t quite up to their normal standards.

I always enjoy my food here. Service is THE BEST!! They have a great selection on their menu and daily specials all week. My favorite is a cinnamon roll pancake. But their drinks always are delicious.

This place was fabulous! The food was so good! We were asked multiple times how we were doing and if we needed anything!! Good breakfast and lunch place and also they are open one evening and that is Friday with unlimited fish fry!!! Definitely will be coming back a lot!!

This place is definitely a hidden gem.Great,friendly ,personable service. The food is absolutely amazing. I brought my very picky sons here to try it and they fell in love instantly. We ordered both breakfast and lunch items and All items were fresh and cooked to perfection.Their cheesecake reminded me of the ones in NewYork

This is the best breakfast I've ever had outside of my own kitchen! I had the steak and eggs. The steak was better than most steak houses in the area. My wife got the crab cake appetizer (I'm not one to eat seafood for breakfast) and I fell in love. The hollandaise sauce was amazing and the crab was fresh! I found my new favorite breakfast spot. 👍🏻 Service was outstanding, and the food came out quick.
