(from Google)Dr T was friendly with our pup and worked extra hard to make sure he wasn't scared. She spent time with us regarding our questions and concerns, learned about our lifestyle to make sure she gave us guidance that fit.
My dog loves coming to see Dr T and the wonderful Vet Techs at Urban Paw. They are so patient with his exuberance! They take the time to explain options and treatments which I appreciate. I do like the streamline of getting into a room and paying there too. They have always done a great job for us.
At Urban Paw in Broomfield, every single person who works there has a true love for the animals in their care. They remember my dog and her issues every time and I know they genuinely worried about her when she was sick, calling me frequently between appointments to check on her. They meet dogs where they're at and make their comfort a top priority. My Doberman Pincher recently had surgery to remove a bowel obstruction and went through a lot of appointments with the office. I was concerned she'd develop a fear. But each time we went back, she'd trot towards the door with a wagging tail, excited to say hello to everyone, and lick thier faces. Both Dr. T and Dr. W are extremeley competent and knowledgeable in general, and to breed-specific health concerns. The entire team is very understanding and compassionate when it comes to the owners/parents of pets too. They educate you in a non-judgemental way. Providing you will all the cost and medical information in plain language so that you can be prepared and know what to expect every step of the way. Best vet office I've ever been too, highly recommend!
Dr. W and Dr. Tran are wonderful! Whenever my dog has had an issue pop up (broken nail, throwing up 12x one morning, a weird pacing issue) they have always been able to get us in the same day and are very timely. They are also great listeners. I don't think they claim be be integrative, but I've found them to be willing to suggest alternative, more holistic options. For example, my dog broke a nail and they offered meds, but I didn't want to give him any so they gave me an effective alternative instead (epsom salt soak). We also had a great experience at the Urban Paw downtown. You can't go wrong with them!
My family had been going to Mandalay since I was in middle school and I took my own animals there when I got older. I of course was concerned when they said they were selling since it seems like every vet is corporate, short staffed and impersonal. I could not be more happy with Urban Paw. I have had the pleasure of dealing with all of the vets but most frequently Dr. T. They care so deeply about my animals, they have availability for me to get in quickly and they are efficient with figuring out what is going on. While I loved the care I received from the vets at Mandalay, Urban Paw has brought some changes like doing labs in house, taking payment in the rooms and swiftly getting you into a patient room which I appreciate with a reactive dog. They have adjusted some pricing structures making things like dental care more reachable and they told me that there is a heartworm shot! I am so grateful to have people care as much as I do for all of my pets.
