Thrive Nature Park

It feels like walking in the nature. The trail could be bit longer and paved.

Great City Park with paved and dirt trails.

Gorgeous little getaway in the city, lots of parking at thrive, the park is filled with native insects and plants. We even saw lichens which is such a great sign of a healthy ecosystem. Little benches are scattered around the trails. Definitely grab your binoculars and a bird sound identifying app.

Good place to take a walk in the woods. Fairly small but across from Memorial Park, so it’s possible to take a longer walk. Dense thicket with grassy open areas and large field of wildflowers. The bird blind is interesting. Unfortunately the planes flying over every few minutes make hearing birds difficult. Weirdly, the loudest birds you hear when walking here are peacocks that live a few blocks away. I would like to see the peacocks. This park would be especially good for families with young children or for people who need an easy and mostly flat hiking path. Many benches. Accessible for all. Parking is across the street at Thrive Rec Center.

If you are looking for an outside classroom or an environment that you might draw in this is the place to go. If you are looking to walk for fitness go somewhere else.
