(from Google)Started at sea level and hiked up the coastline. This trail meets up with a few others that are worth hiking. The views are fabulous and the ravens kept me company. Campfires on the beach are welcome.
My favorite beach to spend the day.The water color here is light not dark as other beaches and I think because rocks around the beach are green.
It’s a nice hiking area with low to medium difficulty hikes. It gets a bit windy but the views are nice. Not the most mind blowing hike in California but easily reachable
Nice, big parking lot, well paved trails. Spectacular coastal line and wild flowers everywhere. Many miles of trails. One can make it easy or very challenging. The day we visited, it’s part of a 100k race with over 11k elevation gain 😱. Many trails are wide and easy. There are uphills one that have more that 20% grade. Totally up to you. Beware, toilets do not have water or sanitizer. Bring your own.
Fantastic views and easy to medium skill level trails. You have the option to walk at least 4 different trails starting from Muir Beach. We walked Pirates Cove and had a blast. The dramatic cliffs and vistas will leave you in awe. Parking is easy and there are compost style restrooms near the entrance. Highly recommend.
