(from Google)Extremely helpful and so sweet & patient with us. Dr. Nicholas Davainis was extremely supportive & caring. Valeria was also so nice & helpful on the phone.
Took my cat here for her yearly check up. She contacted a virus from the room and literally died three days later from a virus cought from that office. It cost my 5k and I lost my beloved kitty. Tried to get ahold of anyone from that office, only got one reply and never heard from them again. Do not take your animals here. They don't sanitize the rooms, it was contacted from another cat. She was a indoor cat with no contact with any other animals. that's how the cought the virus. Again do not take your pets here. Update. I did reach out and outside of condolences they offered nothing in compensation. Absolutely nothing. They didn't even reply to my last email. This all could have been prevented if you cleaned the exam rooms. Pure laziness.
My cat is well taken care of here, always in good hands with friendly staff and vets (+ assistants) who are informative and knowledgeable. The environment is clean, something I appreciate because my cat normally gets stressed out when he can smell other cats. But he’s never stressed in the lobby nor the rooms. The pricing is accurate for a pet clinic. I’ll ask ahead of time and they provide very reasonable breakdowns of what I’m paying for that day. They even take into consideration what I feel I can’t afford. All in all, for someone as anxious and picky as I am, I feel very relieved and confident at the work done at this clinic!
We have moved on to another vet because we had a hunch we were being overcharged and unnecessary procedures were being recommended. Our conclusion from our new vet experience is that we were right. Hopefully locally owned vets continue to be an option and they don’t all get bought out by VCA.
I brought my dog Pliny for a checkup and update in vaccines, the vet told me that one of the vet techs accidentally gave my dog TWO doses of canine influenza vaccine instead of one. He was already getting 4 other vaccines at this time. I was told there was no serious issue, only because he is a larger dog. He will have more nausea and feel more unwell from the extra vaccine as well as had to be pricked twice. There was no offer to discount my visit or anything to make it right on their end. I’m frustrated that I paid more for a high end vet and got extremely unprofessional results. What if it had been a medication that could have hurt him? I have concerns about an employee being careless and not even double checking the medicine they are giving my animal. I would think that is something you would double, triple check. Very frustrated that there was no compensation for this either.
