Georgetown Veterinary Hospital

Our experience with this veterinary office was unlike any other. I was out in Georgetown with my family when we witnessed a small dog being attacked by a much larger one. After managing to get the larger dog off, I immediately contacted this vet office. They took the injured dog in for emergency surgery as soon as we arrived, along with the owner, who was also injured during the attack. Their compassion, responsiveness, and professionalism were truly remarkable. Wonderful people doing incredible work.

Dr Morgan and his staff have been fantastic to our cat children. Tgey are kind, professional and very very knowledgeable about animals. Dr Morgan has never tried to upsell meds and his prices are on par with other vets. I know my cats are in great hands at Georgetown Vet clinic.

We recently moved to Georgetown, and today I visited the vet for the first time. Dr. Malachi was incredibly friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable. She took plenty of time to discuss my puppy’s anxiety and digestive issues in detail. The location is very convenient, and right in front of the vet is a newly opened dog-friendly café! I’m so grateful to have found this vet—I truly feel my most precious puppy is in great hands. Thanks to all the staff who were so helpful and kind! I truly felt cared for and supported!

I couldn’t be happier with the show- cut my dog received from Dr Morgan and his team! Show cuts result in a very short nail length, often trimmed closer than a typical pet trim. Sherlock’s was done with incredible attention to detail—his nails are perfect. My experience with the team has been nothing but positive—they clearly care about the dogs and know exactly what they’re doing. One thing I appreciate is their honesty and experience. They reminded me (and it’s good advice for any dog owner) that sometimes, despite best efforts, a nail or two may bleed. Dogs don’t always sit still, especially during nail trims, and it’s a common part of the process. The staff handled everything calmly and efficiently, keeping Sherlock comfortable and safe throughout. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quality nail trim with a team that genuinely cares about your pet’s well-being. We will definitely be back!

Do not expect quality at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital. We got our dog Baloo’s nails clipped (amongst other check ups) at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital this August (2026) and two of his nails were bleeding (the blood vessels underneath had been cut). We heard him squeal through a closed door. This is simple unacceptable. We don’t go to professionals to have our dog bleeding. You can make a mistake once an expect understanding, but not twice (two nails at least were bleeding and cut much too deep). We will never go back here.
