Today we took our dog Luna to the veterinarian, Dr. Logan Murray, and we had such a great experience. My husband and I live in Georgetown, and we had trouble finding a good vet for a long time — but we finally found DuPont Veterinary Clinic, and they were amazing. Dr. Logan Murray is a genuinely kind and caring person. He treated Luna so gently and patiently, and Luna was very well-behaved thanks to how comfortable he made her feel. The examination was very thorough, and while discussing which vaccines Luna needed, he was extremely honest. If something wasn’t necessary for her, he said so and never tried to push extra services or take our money. That level of honesty really means a lot to us. The assistants working there were also amazing — very professional, attentive, and kind. The clinic was spotless and very clean. This was our first time visiting, and we’re pretty sure this will be our regular vet from now on. Even the treats they gave Luna were great! Thank you so much for everything. We highly recommend Dr. Logan Murray and DuPont Veterinary Clinic.

We cannot say enough good things about Dupont Vet. It is really difficult to find a veterinary practice you can trust in this area, and we trust this clinic wholeheartedly. We are always able to get an appointment, the vets are thorough and caring, and we have never felt pressured to do unnecessary testing or treatment. Having used other area vets in the past (in the Clarendon neighborhood in Arlington), we can confidently say the pricing here (from exams to vaccines) is extremely fair. Huge thanks to Dr. Yallof, who greatly allayed our anxiety upon bringing in our new rescue and Dr. Murray, who is always so kind and conscientious (whether we come in for an eye infection or an annual exam). We would be totally remiss not to thank Monisha, who always greets us with a smile and is incredibly responsive on email. Thank you all for the care and warmth you provide! We will continue to use Dupont Vet Clinic even when we move out of the city and into the suburbs. We are so grateful.

The team at DuPont Vet Clinic is always so warm & friendly and understanding. Even though our dog doesn't enjoy the vet, they are so good with him. We can always message them on the app with any questions we have and they always respond. We love them and recommend taking your pet here

Veterinary care is surely fine. We got an annual check-up and dental cleaning last year. The year we ended up looking for alternatives this year due to miscommunication about pricing. We wanted our cats to just get the vaccination (which we inquired about prior), but they told us upon arrival that the annual wellness exam was an unnegotiable additional fee. Generally, I don't feel comfortable with the way they present/recommend their services, hide their costs, and upsell. 1) They will give you minimal space to make a decision that comes with a substantial financial cost. (e.g. blood-test for anaesthesia 2 months ahead of the dental surgery.) 2) They misrepresented the facts when making us choose between the 1-year and 3-year rabies vaccines. Putting a high emphasis on some change of cancer following 3-year vaccines without being able to give me a real increase in likelihood. It is clearly financial advantageous if we come back every year so they can charge us for the annual examination [97usd] (they won't vaccinate without one). 3) I brought up the fact that one of my cats has cat acne. Their response: "Cat acne can be hard to get rid off." without additional comments/advice. These things only minimally affect your pet, so if you are price indifferent you'll be fine. We, as customers, were left with an uneasy feeling of "being had". My recommendation: sending estimates and price sheets upfront so I can weigh my options in peace.

It's been so difficult to find a caring vet since our relocation from Hawaii a year ago, where we had an amazing vet and vet techs who showed my cat 3PO lots of aloha. Today was our first appointment at Dupont Vet Clinic with Dr. Murray, and we're happy to say, we have found our vet! Dr. Murray showed us the same aloha we felt at our Hawaii cat clinic. His bedside manner is superb; he is attentive, thorough, patient, and kind. If you're looking for a vet who is professional, friendly, and compassionate, look no further because Dr. Murray is your guy! Mahalo to Dr. Murray and the Dupont staff today for a great visit and our new home clinic :)
