(from Google)Cannot say enough good things about this clinic. The staff are phenomenal. I mostly work with Dr. Dobbs and Dr. Van, but I’ve met with the other vets as well. They are all fantastic. I’ve owned dogs for 30 years. Been to a lot of vet clinics. They are The Best I’ve ever used.
I cannot recommend Animal Oasis of the Rockies enough! From the moment you walk in, it's clear this isn't just any vet hospital – it's a place where every staff member genuinely loves animals. They are beyond kind and always so excited to see my dog, which truly warms my heart every visit. As someone who used to work in the vet industry, cleanliness is paramount to me, and Animal Oasis always exceeds expectations. Their rooms are impeccably clean, and the entire facility is incredibly well-organized. I also appreciate the modern convenience of being able to schedule appointments online. But what truly sets them apart is their thoughtful checkout process. Being able to complete payment, get my invoice for insurance, and schedule future appointments right there in the exam room is a game-changer. It eliminates the usual overwhelming juggling act of holding my dog, handling paperwork/wallet, and trying to manage everything at the front desk. Animal Oasis of the Rockies provides exceptional care with a personal touch. They truly go above and beyond for their furry patients and their human companions!
Edit** Thank you, Trinity, for making time to talk to me and listen to me about my concerns. I have increased my rating pending another visit to your vet, which I am confident will go better next time. 🩷 I found this vet through google. I recently relocated to the area and needed to find a new vet closer to home. My boyfriend and I brought in both my cat and dog simultaneously, and animal oasis was great to accommodate both of them at the same time! I run a small business so my free time is scarce. We met with Dr Katie and she was seriously awesome. Cannot say enough good things about this vet and her heart for animals. The reason for my review today is for a member of Animal Oasis’ admin team. After our vet appointment concluded, a woman named Sarah came into our exam room to tender payment and see us on our way. From the moment she stepped in the room, she was pretty rude. She mentioned when the doc wanted to see us again, and so I asked if I was able to schedule right now (i wasn’t sure if we needed to do it online, some places are like that), and she responds with “well yeah that’s what we’re doing right now.” Sheesh, sorry. I scheduled two more appointments. I had questions about getting my animals records separately and asked if it were possible if I could pay in two transactions. Sarah made a dissatisfied face and explained very slowly that no, their system doesn’t allow it. I say ok, I understand, I can pay for them together but I’d like some sort of print out breakdown of today’s treatments- one for each pet. One is on insurance, you see. The other one isn’t yet. Sarah again makes this confused face, like I said something stupid, then says to me “I didn’t design our online system to do that so there’s zero way for me to do that.” The sarcasm was deeply unnecessary. I understand that people have bad days, and i do understand the emotional strain vets and vet techs go through (hence why I love and cherish those who choose this career path), but never have I been spoken down to and condescended by someone so quickly after meeting them. Sarah made it abundantly clear that I was being irrational and that there was absolutely nothing she could do. I handed her my credit card and again asked about getting some sort of print out. She tells me they will be emailed to me in a couple days. Our printer at home isn’t working so I guess I’m SOL. After what I paid Animal Oasis today, it would have been nice if I was met with some kind of compromise. Sarah made it clear they wouldn’t accommodate. Then, on our way out the door, she paused and suddenly offered to “talk to her manager” or something, but at that point I just wanted out of that place. It’s a shame my experience with Animal Oasis ended on such a sour note. I would have loved to make Animal Oasis our new vet but I never want to be treated that way again. Animal Oasis, should you decide to keep this woman employed with you, please work with her on her blatant sarcasm with customers, disrespect, and train her to be solution-oriented instead of condescending. Please cancel my future appointments, too. You lost a couple of loyal patients today. 💔
We’ve been going to Animal Oasis for the last few years, and while we always felt so thankful we found them, today we are especially thankful. Our dog needed to get a few teeth extracted, and since he’s a senior dog and we’ve never had him under anesthesia before, we were pretty anxious about it all. Not only did the team took amazing care of him, Lisa, our vet tech also texted us photos of him and updates because she knew we were nervous, which meant THE WOLD to us. They gave us a call right when they finished to let us know it all went smoothly. Every single person in this practice is truly remarkable and their love for animals shines through.
It is coming up on a year now that Ryder has passed, and this was the only place I would bring my boy. I started seeing them, if I remember correctly, before they had a brick and mortar and one of their vets came to my house for a visit. Ryder loved them, and was always as happy as a pet can be when they go for a checkup. They helped me thru his final days, never pushed expensive treatments on me or tried to get him to take a wide array of medications; they just took the absolute best care of him. I am so thankful I had them for my last moments with Ryder, and when I am ready to get another animal, they will still be the only people that I go and see. I can never thank y’all enough. Rees
