(from Google)Today we visited this place for the first time. It was a pretty good experience. The food was delicious If you're looking for something low in calories, try the river walk cobb, if you don't want to eat all the dressing and bacon, you'll have plenty of room in your stomach for the delicious desserts that can be shared between two😉
My husband and I went for lunch on Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful time. We sat by the fire and the ambience was top notch. Food was delish, but oh so filling. We wanted to get the S’mores dessert but didn’t have room. Next time will skip the pub chips appetizer. The only reasons it wasn’t a 5… 1 table was tiny. Hardly has room for plates. 2. Appetizer and my pot roast sandwich were good, but not great.
My husband and I finally got to try this wonderful place after passing by it while under construction. The Christmas decor inside was absolutely stunning . The atmosphere was calm and cozy. My husband ordered the sliders (don’t have a picture :/) the onions on it were marvelous and soft. I ordered the chicken Cesar sandwich. It was soo yummy and fantastic. We also ordered two cocktails the wine and beer later. It was such a lovely experience and our waiter Sam (I think I remembered that right) was super attentive and kind.
Good first experience at the George! Food was great, service was friendly, and I love what they've done with the decor/vibe. Old Fashioned was on point, far far superior to what they had at Bev's. Really enjoyed the patty melt as well, and the churros were surprisingly good, and served inside a cigar box that smokes when you open it. Although not advertised online, happy to report they also have a kids menu with pasta, sliders, tenders, and grilled cheese options. My son loved the sliders.
It’s only been open about a day so I expected some minor issues. Overall the service was great but a little slow. We sat on the patio which is great. We started with the Red Lion shrimp. Fancy name for buffalo shrimp but it tased great. I had the patty melt with fries. It was fantastic and I love the skinny fries. Wife had the Thai Curry Mussels which she loved. No dessert this time but we’ll definitely be back!
