Best veterinary hospital culture I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing in multiple places. Wanted to leave a review on the main page. “Relationships are at the heart of everything we do” is the tagline.

I Love Lindsey and Wills vetinarian clinic in Douglas Ga, they are two of the best vets in the state of Ga in my opinion but I hate that they have joined the American Veterinary Group because of their no payment plans. The AVG should take in account that everyone can't afford to pay the high cost of vet bills all at one time, it hurts owners and the animals too. The American Veterinary Group seems to care only about money and not the people or the animals. That's my opinion

Avoid any practices owned by this company. We spent years trying to get one of their vets to help us figure out what was going on with our dog's skin and bowel movements. The most "help" they ever did was routinely insist on new fecal exams (even though NOTHING ever came up) and administering of topical creams that only temporarily helped the issue. Every visit, no matter how minor, was always overpriced and full of extra fees. Every visit they ran the same test and came to the same conclusion, which was "I don't know, here's some drugs". The doctor constantly treated us with judgement and accused us of not properly caring for our dog. On top of that, their office staff cancelled my last appointment and changed the time, insisting I was late, even though I had 4 forms of communication that proved I was on time. Finally, we switched to a locally owned and run independent practice, and the difference has been astounding. In 2 months my dog has received more compassionate, personalized care than she ever received at one of your offices. They are also close to figuring out what is causing her ailments, something your practice NEVER did.

Their vet prescribed my dog a controlled substance that can’t be stopped cold turkey or shouldn’t be. I called today and they have refused service so I found another Vet . Last time I was there they tried to draw my dog’s blood in the lobby. Why have exam rooms? The Cairo practice manager is very rude and her daughter is employed there and should be a conflict of interest. She thinks it’s appropriate to share a post that she often whispers in the ears of pet parents that “your owner is an idiot”. Delete it I have the screenshots. This vet is owned by AVG (American Vet Group ) in Tampa Florida. I’ve called for over a month and no results. It’s all about money. They refused services but continue to solicit my email. I will be filing complaints with veterinarian board. Absolutely do not recommend this place. I spent hundreds at another vet today. Run from this place (based on my experiences) Their employees have time to post on Facebook when they should be working and insist on doing their procedures out of pet parent’s presence. They care….about your money.
