We truly couldn't have asked for a better doctor for our baby! We went through several vets until we finally found Dr. Loretta, and she is absolutely amazing, and the entire team is wonderful. Dr. Loretta and her team are always very patient, they explain everything thoroughly, and they ensure we always have our necessary medication. We will be forever grateful. Dr. Loretta literally saved our boy’s life. After a terrifying ER visit, we were sent home with a bleak diagnosis and told to return in 2-3 days to "say our goodbyes." The ER scheduled a CT scan two weeks out—a timeline they knew our boy wouldn’t survive. The day Dr. Loretta was open, we rushed to be seen. She was incredible. She didn't just perform the necessary procedures, she used her personal connections to get us a surgical consult and CT scan appointment the very same day. She immediately switched us to the appropriate diet, explained our options, and stayed in constant contact with us and the specialist. Thanks to her immediate, compassionate, and expert action, our cat is still with us a year later. Even now, as we manage his ongoing health, all we have to do is call, and they see us the same day and ensure we have everything we need. I’ve been taking my cats to Dr. Pesteanu since she worked for a larger practice, and was thrilled when she opened Loving Paws. She’s been treating my cats with kindness and competency for two decades, and I can state without hyperbole that she’s saved the lives of three of my cats who were on the brink. Her staff are all compassionate people as well. I won’t take my pets anywhere else.

Dr Loretta and her staff have the best veterinary hospital I have ever experienced. She is experienced, professional, knowledgeable and above all caring. I have a 12 year old small breed male dog. Recently he stopped eating and was very lethargic. We took him in and her staff immediately calmed us down and administered their love and care. Dr Loretta explained what was happening and what tho do about it. Everything was explained again by her staff in an empathetic manner. Much appreciated! I love Loving Paws! Dr Loretta is the most thorough vet I've ever had the pleasure of trusting my animals with. She frequently spends up to an hour with my dog and she thinks outside the box; she has solved several health issues with my rescue dog that previous vets had not been able to figure out or treat successfully. I work at an animal shelter and Dr Loretta is so supportive of the work we do at the shelter and the issues we deal with at the shelter. Her staff is wonderful. I boarded my dog at Loving Paws and she had so much fun hanging out with the staff, she didn't even want to come home!
