(from Google)This is a wonderful nature area in the middle of town that is like a miniature oasis of sorts! I suggest you park at Home Depot before embarking on the walking or biking paths that lead to more secluded trails tracing the river. The accessibility aspect was interesting at first, so definitely keep that in mind before you make your visit. The pup was a fan of the abundance of wildlife that we passed on our walk (significant amount of turkey and deer, strangely enough) and found lots of neat areas to explore!
Very clean not a whole lot of homeless people a s*** ton of mosquitoes
So I walked this entire area but had to park in Home Depot and start there. Bike bath goes all around and while great for walking its really for biking. Litter free and clean with level walk and bike path about. Nice little swamp areas but be warned mosquitoes are on you in a second. Secluded and nice but does have its cons with no parking available.
Beautiful, but we were under constant attack from all the mosquitos. They were swarming in the late afternoon... bitten even though we were wearing bug spray.
Great bike path. Amazing part of Fort Collins trails for biking
