Cattail Chorus Natural Area

Nice natural area with good access to the Cache la Poudre river! Great place to cool off under a cottonwood on a hot summer day.

I'm sure this is a beautiful and serene place on a normal day. But when it's covered in a fresh coat of snow, it is absolutely wonderful. It is so quiet and peaceful here. No one else was here as it was negative. 9° f when I came out. 🙂 There are a few amenities on the trail, there are bicycle stations, trail information, and dog stations Enjoy!

The escape within town that you’ve been craving can be found right here; a perfect nature area oasis that is close enough to check out on your lunch break. If you haven’t explored this vast territory or the surrounding trails, I absolutely recommend making the time to visit it soon. It’s a stunningly serene place full of thriving ecosystems to admire, plus there’s never overcrowding since the biking and running enthusiasts are swift in their time spent here.

Gorgeous people friendly place to view wildlife just off the Poudre Trail. Great Blue Herons are nesting nearby. Bring your binoculars and enjoy!

It's a beautiful scenic area with lots too explore if you veer off the trail. It's a great place to go for a jog, to go for a picnic, or just to walk about taking in the natural world & the fresh air.
