Beautiful scenery only minutes from old town on bike. One of my favorites in town.

This nature area, nestled in the heart of town, feels like a hidden oasis. The peaceful setting, with its lush greenery and a serene little body of water, offers a perfect escape from the urban hustle. It’s an ideal spot to unwind, take a leisurely stroll, or sit by the water and watch the wildlife. The calm atmosphere and natural beauty make it a refreshing retreat that feels worlds away, despite being right in the middle of Fort Collins. My dog in particular loves when we stop by Kingfisher and peruse the vegetation and stunning landscape.

A super pretty, free place to go on a walk. You could walk for quite a while from here if you wanted but it passes the Mix farm area, another beautiful spot.

Great area to walk around. You can see that this part of nature is well preserved even being in the middle of a developed area. The poudre trail goes trough, and its a great way to discover these wetlands. The colours are awesome in the fall. We saw a big amount of birds and ducks. They have a nice interactive area for the kinds to learn about the nature, as well as bike trails.

What a beatiful little gem of a natural area. I was walking around when the sun was setting and it was amazing. Very quiet and almost nobody there. Ponds are nice and also makes for some good fishing spots. Bring your dog, bike, remote control or anything else and enjoy. Really beatiful area.
