(from Google)I set up an online appointment for Tuesday at 2:30 because that was the 1st available on a Thursday. At about 12 the day of the appointment, someone called and said they needed to reschedule because the vet was busy so we were offered Thursday at 11:30. I arrived a bit early but there was 2 people ahead of me waiting to be checked out. It took about 15 minutes for me to be acknowledged even though there were 2 people up front. 1 guy was working and the other was sitting nearby on his personal phone. The one guy on his phone said he was training so he couldn't help after asking our name. Both guys were nice, but we didn't get checked in until after our appointment time. The front area was dirty with tons of hair and bugs on the floor. The exam room itself was dirty with a lot of hair on the floor/sitting area, and the exam table looked like it hadn't been wiped down from the previous pet. The technician and vet who did the exam were very nice. When our exam was over the tech walked us out to the front to check out but a different receptionist was on her personal phone talking and didn't acknowledge the tech when she walked up to her with our paperwork to hand off despite us and the tech standing there. So the tech checked us out herself. We had a free coupon from recently adopting a pet from petsmart for the visit itself. The exam fee is higher than other vets in the area by about $20 as was the fee for the diagnostic test that was done. I wouldn't recommend this vet office even though they were nice as there are others in the area that are cleaner and cheaper.
Terrible experience. I dropped off my dog at 11:00 a.m. and was told he would be ready and vaccinated by 1:00 p.m. When that time passed and I didn’t receive a call, I decided to call them myself. The woman who answered was very rude and told me they would call “when he’s ready,” completely ignoring what I had been told earlier. After waiting even longer with no update, we went in person to see what was going on. Again, the same rude attitude—she just told me to wait without giving any explanation. After another 30 minutes, I asked them to give me my dog back, vaccinated or not, because it had already been over 5 hours. It’s hard to believe they couldn’t administer just two vaccines in all that time. Ironically, when it was time to pay, her attitude suddenly improved. On top of that, the employee who originally told me my dog would be ready at 1:00 p.m. later denied ever saying that and even laughed sarcastically, which was extremely disrespectful. To make matters worse, I paid without even knowing if my dog was actually vaccinated, and they didn’t provide any proof or vaccination record. I definitely do not recommend this place. Completely unprofessional, poor customer service, and zero transparency.
All my dogs have been going to Banfield for years. Journey goes to Murfreesboro now. They treat her very well. The staff is awesome and I trust them with her.
I am very unimpressed with their professionalism. I feel like any time that I’ve visited, their overall atmosphere and attitude wasn’t very welcoming nor a sense of urgency. I originally had booked through the app for an in room appointment and then the next morning they called saying they can’t do that so I needed to come in earlier for a drop off. That wasn’t an issue as long as my cat was getting seen. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked in and then waited for 30 extra minutes from my appointment time. I understand they are busy, but again I felt that there wasn’t a sense of urgency. I’ve been places where they really express that they want to take care of your fur baby and ensure the best care for them. The first lady came in and asked maybe a few questions and then walked out. I sat there waiting for another 15 minutes not knowing where she went. Then a guy came in and didn’t even introduce himself or say hi. The first lady returned saying that he was going to go over my quote and ask for my signature. The guy looked like he really couldn’t care less or just doing what he was told. It was very “let me get to the point and sign”. He proceeded to go over the quote and just burped without even excusing himself. Dr. Vignal was very caring and helped answer my questions over the phone. When it was time to pickup my baby the same guy brought her out with the cage door open and the cage wasn’t even all the way clasped and had to point that out so she wouldn’t fall out. It was just overall unprofessional. I would do your research and read reviews before booking here.
I take my fur baby to Banfield for his semi annual care. They make sure to keep him up to date with all of his scheduled preventive care. I can always call them if Mocha is not up to his playful best and they seem to always know what to have me do for getting him back in tip top shape.
