I can’t thank them enough for saving my dog, Tohru. She was hit by a car, and they took great care of her by quickly diagnosing what was wrong and helping her heal. She had to be hospitalized for 24 hours, and they allowed me to stay with her the entire time. They set us up in our own room with a bed and continued monitoring her until they gave us the all clear to go home. I’m so incredibly thankful for them. They are an amazing group of people, and everyone I interacted with was so kind and compassionate.

Our dog became acutely sick on a very early Sunday morning. She was non-responsive and near death. We live an hour away from Veg and we called on the way so we could give them her information ahead of time. She ended up having pancreatitis in a severe case of hge. They did everything they could to keep her comfortable and were very caring toward her. They kept us informed at home by reaching out and giving us updates and allowing us to call anytime. When we went to pick her up Monday morning to transport her to our local primary vet the nurse Amanda was on the floor with her trying to help her and keep her comfortable. She was very compassionate and cared very much about our dog and the suffering she was experiencing because of the pain from the pancreatitis and hge. She also answered every question we asked. The veterinarian there at the time Dr Oller was very helpful and contacted our local vet and electronically sent her records and answered our questions. It was questionable when we left if our dog Ruth would actually recover because she was in such a bad state but after four more days at the local vet she made a miraculous recovery. We are thankful for the part that veg played in getting her initial treatment with such care.

My dog received amazing care and so grateful they offer endoscopy. My dog was able to have a foreign body removed from the stomach non-surgically and was happy and eating just a few hours later.

I called earlier this week because it was becoming clear that our precious Mocha was needing to be laid to rest. I’d called multiple other vets and end of life care places, including at home services, but VEG was open 24 hours a day, didn’t require an appointment and the cost was less than the other places I’d checked in with. The sweet woman who answered was so kind while I asked heart-breaking questions, that alone told me that it was a safe place to take our girl. Tonight was the night it was clear that we needed to let her go, we took her in and had to take turns trying to talk because we were so distraught. From intake walking us back right away, to them explaining everything as clearly and as kindly as they could, to the IV being placed, to her final moment, these were the kindest people I’ve ever met when it comes to pet care. I cannot give them anything less than five stars. Not only did they have Kleenex in the room, they even gave us little packets of them as well. From start to finish they were patient, kind and so caring and it made a horrific night so much more bearable. If you’re needing to let a pet go soon, they were the best place to take our sweet Mocha to say goodbye.

This past Sunday at approximately 5pm, we had arrived home from a family outing to find our new 12 week puppy was exhibiting the signs of a seizure. Without hesitation, we called VEG ER. The staff on the telephone with us was very courteous and compassionate. When we arrived, the staff member came to the car outside. They immediately transported my sweet Luna to one of their tables. They worked quickly in attempting to determine her state. With the help of two wonderful vet assistants, they were about to raise her sugar and temperature. The physician was very knowledgeable and explained anything to us that we questioned. They were very helpful in a step by step process to ensure we could afford Luna's care. They were very honest as well as very personal to our experience and the care of Luna. Our before and after pictures. Would recommend anyone who is as worried for their pet as we were to trust this emergency vet!
