Veterinary Center at Fishhawk

I am so grateful for their help! My Pomeranian collapsed at the park on a Saturday and I had to rush her to the closest vet. They didn’t care that she wasn’t a patient already, they moved quickly and made sure she was stable and gave a great recommendation for next steps. Highly recommend! Such a nice Veterinarian!!

They were very efficient and took my dog for ultrasound. Staff was experienced and very courteous. Would definitely use them again when needed.

STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT bring your pet here!! I brought my completely healthy dog here for an elective procedure. I got a call 2 hours later that my dog was loosing a large amount of blood and was in unstable condition.( Dr.Berger almost killed my dog) When I arrived Dr.Berger tried to assure me the dog was going to be okay and claimed that it was “normal” for him to be the way he was and that he was “completely comfortable sending him home“ and that he did not think it was necessary for the dog to go to the ER (regardless of my dog coughing up blood an unable to breathe). I ignored him and used common sense and rushed to bring my dog to the nearest ER where he was admitted immediately and spent 4 days in their ICU in an oxygen cage. They told me had I listened to Dr. Berger my dog would have died. The office manager and Director of the practice assured me not to worry about any of the bills and to just worry about him being my okay. Fast forward almost 2 months after multiple calls and Meeting with the director of their hospitals. I have reached a dead end and have gotten no response. They won’t reach out to me to refund me for all of my bills which were $7,000!! STAY AWAY!!!! I have an attorney and am now in the process of filing a lawsuit against them for malpractice.In addition to filing a complaint with the DBPR. It is a shame that people are this cruel and corrupt!! Do yourself and your pet a favor and STAY AWAY!!

Unbelievable vet!!! Dr. Katie is so sweet and down to Earth, Dr. Berger we had used on Dutch virtual service was amazing(that's how we found out about the practice) and Dr. Ferguson whom we had for a virtual visit for our girl Emmy was super sweet as well! Very convenient with tele health appointments and very reasonably priced. Only concern was their in house pharmacy prices were very expensive when compared to a regular human pharmacy, but all vets offices are that way. If you can get a written script and take it to Walgreens or CVS you'll definitely save $, but the convenience of having onsite meds especially if it's animal specific is very helpful. Overall a wonderful practice, very caring and understanding, will absolutely continue to bring our big lovey for anything she needs going forward!!!

I’m beyond thankful for this vet office. When my dog became very sick, they took immediate action and treated him with such genuine care and compassion. The entire staff was friendly, patient, and willing to answer every question I had, which really eased my worries during a stressful time. They didn’t just focus on the medical side—they also worked with me to make sure the cost was manageable, which meant so much. You can tell they truly care about both the pets and the people who love them. Thanks to their skill and kindness, my dog is happy, healthy, and back to his playful self. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care!
