Veterinary Medical Center of The Woodlands

I can confidently say we've found our lifelong vet!! If I could give 1,000 stars I would. Not only is Dr. Goodyear the most incredible veterinarian I’ve ever met, the entire staff goes out of their way to make sure my ferrets feel calm and stress-free. Everyone here is so gentle and compassionate with my little ones, and right away you can see how passionate they are about caring for animals. My ferrets are usually very wary of new people and typically won't warm up to strangers. It was amazing to see how comfortable they were immediately upon meeting Dr. Goodyear. She is so sweet with them, truly treats them like her own. I always know they're in such great hands when coming here and it's really changed the veterinary experience for both me and my little ones. Dr. Goodyear performed a procedure on my older ferret, and the care, thoughtfulness, attention, and compassion she showed throughout the entire process meant more to me than I can put into words. She goes above and beyond to make sure my ferrets feel safe and happy at every visit. Watching the transformation in my ferret post-op has been the greatest gift! Seeing him happy, playful, and full of life again, when I wasn’t sure that would ever be possible, is something I will be forever grateful for.

We’ve been taking our cat Salem to The Veterinary Medical Center of The Woodlands for a while, but only recently started seeing Dr. Asantewaa - and we are so impressed! Our cat is calm and comfortable with her (and he’s a pretty good judge of character :)). Dr. Asantewaa is kind, personable, and you can tell she genuinely cares, but she’s also very efficient and practical when it comes to treatment and recommendations. We leave feeling confident that Salem is taken care of.

Dr. Asantewaa and her team are perfect. They were welcoming and very gentle with our cat. The room was spacious and didn’t have an odor. On top of that, the reception was pleasant and the waiting area was neat and clean. They took as back upon arrival and didn’t rush the appointment. Best veterinary experience thus far.

This vet took my dog in as a new client, on a last minute walk In notice on a Sunday morning. Major kudos for them being open on a Sunday since most vets are closed. My dog had an intestinal obstruction and I was seen right away. While I wish they were able to do my dog’s surgery there..the staff and Vet doctor were pleasant. I was advised to drive straight to Blue Pearl for his surgery. Im glad they accommodated my dog’/ case as emergent.

Great clinic and great staff! On a Saturday my dog Luca somehow scratched his eye which is even worse because most vets are closed on the weekends, but thankfully this vet is open on Saturdays and Sundays! I called and they were able to see us right away. He was pretty nervous to be at the vet but the vet and his tech took extra time to reassure Luca and make him feel comfortable at his visit which is greatly appreciated. You can tell they really care about your pets and the tech even drew a picture of Luca on his take home bag. I will definitely be coming here with my other dogs in the future!
