I ordered the grouper fish tacos with a strawberry daiquiri and loved both. The fresh jicama slaw added the perfect crunch to the tacos, and the tortilla tasted fresh too. The side of fries was simple but exactly what you want for a waterfront lunch. The rest of our party ordered the steamed peel-and-eat shrimp and shrimp tacos, and everything at the table was fresh and delicious. We also shared the gator bites and grouper bites, which were equally good. We were a party of five and walked right in to a table on the water, which made the experience even better. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and true Florida vacation energy.

Overall, our visit to the salt shack was great. The staff was friendly and responsive, the food came out in a good amount of time. The food was very good as well. Appetizers are great, we got the ceviche and calamari, it went fast! Stuff was good. The main dishes were large and we left very satisfied. I would recommend the seafood pasta mix, the shrimp was amazingly fresh. The seafood here really is very fresh. I would recommend this to all who are locals are in the area.

Was looking for waterfront dining and went here for the first time. Water view was amazing! Loved the bar which we were able to order pina coladas and enjoy while waiting. They have areas to sit and wait all around the restaurant which was great and nice live band playing! The waiter was as very attentive and nice. The food was average in my opinion, I was not amazed, I felt it was lacking in flavor. I ordered fish tacos and calamari, tacos were bland and calamari was really chewy. But overall a nice restaurant and would definitely be revisiting. Great atmosphere!

Very nice service and beautiful scenery but birds perch above you while eating and actually got pooped on head. Servers very nice and moved us but odd setup. Food great flavor but advertised as large shrimp for big portion and came out with only 8 small to medium size shrimp with small order of fries at $22. Very small portion for the price.

Had a lunch here on a very pleasant day with my colleagues. The spot is lovely with a really nice view—total vibe! Service is quick and friendly, and the menu is huge and tempting. I was let down by the appetizer portions, though, and the mains were nothing to write home about. They were okay, but just lacked that 'wow' factor. It felt a bit ordinary for my taste. I was expecting more.
