Sketchy…there was a car parked at the west middle trail head..we went in and my dog stopped at 50 ft in..we trusted his guidance and u-turned back to the trailhead..the guy was there 10 ft into the trail..all smiles of course..we don’t think he had good intentions.
Warning narrow Bumpy and uneven for Adventuring Mommas and reactive doggo guardians. Great tree coverage with lots of wildlife.
Beautiful trail, visually the best the last few hours of the day & in the early morning. About 40 min walk and bench to sit on and look out at the water. Be aware of your surroundings as there are gators in the water (obviously) & it is wooded seclusion in Jacksonville, after all. For one loop, it has a lot of different terrains, May be a bumpy bike adventure, but be wary with any wheels as there are many roots along the path. Thank you to the community that created & upkeep this trail!
