(from Google)Our server Ben is outstanding. Had the flight - great selection of brew! Do have the ceviche. Also the view is lovely.
Went for a date here after walking along the beach. We wanted some quick food, and went around 5:30pm on a Thursday, so got the Happy Hour menu. We had the sliders, a tequila with pineapple, and a glass of house red wine. Total before tips came to 20 bucks, which is pretty decent. The server was very friendly. The restrooms downstairs are clean. There's live sports on the TVs by the bar.
Visiting a friend in Long Beach for the first time and he suggested eating at the Belmont Brewing Company. That was a great suggestion! The food, view, and service was perfect! I had the Ahi Tuna Salad and I wish I could eat again for dinner. The Ahi was seared to perfection! Our table also had the fish and chips and were very impressed. The Long Beach Crude Stout was absolutely fantastic! I wished they sold it in bottels or cans. Sadly, they only sold it in a growler. The view of the beach and Long Islan ports was perfect. We couldn't ask for a better weather day, 80 degrees in January. I will definitely eat and try other beers here again. Our server was super nice and fun.
Our party of four enjoyed our meal here, especially after walking a few miles. Service, though a tad slow, was super friendly. Ribeye bowl - ribeye was tender and delicious. Enjoyed the entire bowl! Fish and chips - also very well done and the person who ordered it said it was just what they were craving. Steamed mussels - nicely done but one member in our dining party thought they were slightly overdone. If I’m back in the area, I would come back again 😆
The location is great - right on the beach with nice views - and the food itself was good. Beer was amazing. We went in December, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. Everything took a very long time: drinks, beer, food, even water. At one point, we waited about 20 minutes for another beer, and by the time it arrived, our food was already cold. We were seated outside during happy hour but were told that happy hour only applies inside at the bar, not at outdoor tables, so we couldn’t use it. There also weren’t enough heaters outside, and some of them were out of gas, which made it quite cold. At the end of the meal, our table was waiting for a while to get the check and was being overlooked. I politely called our waitress and asked, “Sorry, can we have the check?” (my boyfriend was in the restroom at the time). She looked at me and responded, “Sir? Did you call me sir?” I was confused and explained that I said “sorry,” not “sir.” She acknowledged it and moved on, but the interaction felt awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, while the location is nice, the service issues and that final interaction made the experience unpleasant. I wouldn’t return unless things improve.
