Billy Creek Preserve and Filter Marsh

A gem in the middle of a neighborhood . Totally unexpected. Parking is limited as there is no lot so on the grass is your option. The wildlife here is just amazing. We saw a soft shell turtle , beautiful birds , ducks and more. The trails are paved and wide . Great for bicycles or strollers. So peaceful to walk through and just enjoy the sounds of nature. You can bring your dog to walk along with you . There is a sign along the path that explains how this beautiful place actually works. There is also a sign showing the many plants and vegetation you'll see along your walk and explaining what they are and how they are/were used. As always be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to the signs. Safety first!!! No swimming or fishing allowed. Please remove your litter so we can all enjoy this special treasure.

Absolutely gorgeous area. I loved it. The paths are beautiful and so is the scenery. I saw a ton of various birds, and it was just so magical!

Beautiful neighborhood park. Paved path with lots of people walking, biking and running. Outer loop was about a mile. Parking was fine on a Sunday afternoon.

Nice paved trail with many sections with shade. My dog loved the walk. Saw several different herons and egrets. Very limited in parking.

Nice place for kids, families and dogs. Paved path with a big loop and short cuts between for the little ones. Plenty of birds and other wildlife to see.
