(from Google)Grillsmith had always been close to home, yet somehow it never made it onto our dining list—until this Mother’s Day, when we finally decided to make it part of our special celebration. Since it was such a busy occasion, I’d highly recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a smoother experience. Parking, thankfully, was stress-free thanks to its convenient location at The Shops at Wiregrass. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and lively. Despite having a reservation, we still had about a 10–15 minute wait, which was understandable given how packed the restaurant was for the holiday. The place was bustling, but the positive energy and warm hospitality made it worthwhile. Our server was friendly, attentive, and patient, offering helpful recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. We were started off with complimentary garlic bread, which was a nice touch and a great way to begin. For appetizers, we chose the Spicy Thai Shrimp and Filet Tip Egg Rolls. The Thai Shrimp was definitely the highlight—crispy, flavorful, and reminiscent of the popular dynamite shrimp served at many restaurants. The Filet Tip Egg Rolls, however, didn’t quite hit the mark for us. Since we’re not particularly big beef fans, that may have influenced our opinion. For drinks, we tried the Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Pineapple Spritz. While both were refreshing, they didn’t particularly stand out or leave a lasting impression. For our main course, we ordered the Fire Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Fresh Catch of the Day. The fish selection changes daily, so if you’re specifically hoping for swordfish, it’s best to call ahead. Both entrées were cooked beautifully and truly elevated our Mother’s Day lunch. Every bite was enjoyable, and aside from the egg rolls, the meal left us eager to return and explore more of the menu in the future. Overall, Grillsmith helped make Mother’s Day feel extra special for the most important woman in our family. It was a memorable lunch filled with good food, warm service, and quality family time. For food lovers looking for a reliable and enjoyable dining experience, Grillsmith is definitely worth trying at least once.
You really feel like at GrillSmith they care about food and people. Great hospitality. We had such a great experience at GrillSmith. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they care about quality and details. Hailey server so hospital and was great experience great professional and we she knows about flavory and thickness and great professionals on cocktails (she can explain what refreshing or strong cocktails) all she recommended was GREAT AMD YUMMY Justin Goble the manager was so friendly and welcoming. The whole experience felt warm and genuine. It’s one of those places where you truly feel taken care of. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.
Stumbled in work our service dog. So welcoming. So accommodating. From the hostess and everyone in-between, the treatment was awesome. The food, was perfect. The apps were tuna tartar, chicken wings . A plate of Chilean sea bass, one of pork chop marsala with veggies, topped with a home mage slice of key lime pie. Awesome! Stop in, you won't regret.
I stopped into Grillsmith – Wesley Chapel for dinner while on vacation. The place looks great. Bright, spacious, clean and easy to settle into. I grabbed a seat at the bar on the hostess’s recommendation and I’m glad I did. Zoe the bartender and Tyler the bar back were awesome. Super friendly, funny and easy to talk to. They definitely made the night better. I ordered the 16oz ribeye cooked medium with sautéed spinach and a side of jalapeño mac and cheese. The steak was flavorful and cooked well. I’ve had better ribeyes, but this one still held its own. The spinach was fine. The jalapeño mac and cheese was very good, mild kick with sharp cheese and it paired perfectly with the steak. For drinks, I went with a smoked old fashioned, liked it so much I ordered a second. Steak was $48, jalapeño mac and cheese was a small upcharge and both old fashioneds totaled $27. I’d definitely come back. A few things I want to try next time include the Filet Tip Egg Rolls, Port Wine Filet Mignon, Cajun Chicken Pasta, Pasta Carbonara, Grillsmith Burger, Au Gratin Potatoes, Yukon Gold Mash and the Bananas Foster Sundae. Parking was tough on this busy Saturday night and my reservation somehow got cancelled when I arrived, but everything else made up for it.
This place was amazing. Everything about it was perfect. The pretzels with cheese were so airy and good. The ribs were amazing. The marshmallow liquor drink was so good; the strawberry margarita was pure perfection. The pineapple upside cake was so moist it practically melted in my mouth. Everything my friend and I had was great except the pear martini, too much ginger. But I would come back here in a heartbeat. So damn good, I cant wait to try more options next time!!!
