Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant

So, I deliberated long and hard if this is what I would call 5 stars. And truly it was the service by our waiter that shined. Exemplary service. Food while looking amazing was... under seasoned on the meats(cooked correctly). Undercooked and hard vegetables. Drinks were very good. Waiter knew exactly what to recommend. As we were there for our anniversary and had heard great things my expectations may have been high. The atmosphere was loud, yet worked. The wine tasting, I agree with other reviewers reminds me of a farm feeding trough. While not as good as expected still worth a try. And we will try again to see if it was a bad night for food.

We regularly go back to this wonderful restaurant for dinners with friends and family or special occasions. The food is impeccable, the wine list and drink menu selection are extensive and service is top-notch. As far as atmosphere, sometimes it can get a little noisy so my only complaint would be that it isn't the best spot to have a conversation catching up over a meal. It truly depends on where you sit. But the meal will be terrific. And we always leave with leftovers. We will be back, no doubt about it.

It’s one of those places where great food and exceptional wine come together perfectly. We recently visited a couple of times around Thanksgiving, keeping it simple with just the two of us. Each visit reminded us why we enjoy it so much. The dishes were consistently delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. From flavorful entrées to perfectly balanced appetizers, everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Of course, the wine selection is a highlight. There’s always something new to taste, whether you prefer bold reds, crisp whites, or something in between. Beyond wine, they also offer well-crafted cocktails and refreshing mocktails, making it a great spot even for those who prefer non-alcoholic options. The drinks pair wonderfully with the menu and elevate the overall dining experience. The service is another standout feature—professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly without feeling rushed. It’s simply a comfortable, reliable place to enjoy good food, quality drinks, and relaxed time together. We highly recommend stopping in for a meal and a glass of your favorite wine.

We had a great experience for Valentine’s Day! We had never been before, but had heard about Cooper’s Hawk, so this is our first experience. Neither one of us are wine drinkers, but we were able to do a tasting of four different wines, and that was quite a treat, honestly the tasting was enough for us ha ha. The sweet red was actually really good! Was also very well done, I had the filet mignon with Betty’s potatoes and the Asian slaw and honestly that combo was just what I wanted. My husband had the Parmesan crusted mahi-mahi, it was a little dry, but I’m sure on a different day It would’ve been better. I think our favorite thing was brussels sprouts, I could’ve eaten multiple plates of those. I’m definitely going to try to Google a copycat recipe for at home! All in all, great evening 👍

We visited Cooper’s Hawk yesterday evening for dinner. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for many years and it isn’t easy to impress me…especially when it comes to service. The entire experience was pretty impressive. The food was outstanding. I had a braised short rib meal that was on the chef’s suggestion menu and I already want to go back to have it again before it’s gone. Hubby had pistachio crusted grouper and we shared the brussels sprouts appetizer. It was all delicious. Even more impressive was the service. We had an adorable young woman named Nina as our server. She was not only polite and sweet and perfectly attentive, she was also funny and engaging. She was knowledgeable about the menu and informative. She made great suggestions. It was our first visit but the experience hooked us and we’ll definitely be back soon.
