I don’t understand the people who complain about long wait times here or how they don’t like their process… it’s a low cost, high volume clinic? Of course they’re not going to operate like a normal vet office, but common sense isn’t common anymore. Anyways, my experience every time I come here has been excellent! I’ve brought many pets here over the years, as well as the Zephyrhills location, and they’ve never failed to solve my problem. Yesterday, I brought my two cats in to be seen for GI issues. $350 for both cats to be examined, both cats to get a steroid shot, both cats to be prescribed probiotics, labs on my one cat, and anti nausea ointment for my one cat, and they prescriptions were included! I came first thing on a Monday, checked them in around 8:45am, and was gone by 10:20am! Everyone was fabulous, from the girls at the front desk to the guy and girl who took care of my girls and kept me updated on what was going on! AND they come out and discuss the cost of what the vet recommends for assessment before they do anything! I’ll always bring my pets here 🤍

I have called several times from 3 different phones for half a week from morning to closing and no one ever picks up. If you are essentially a hospital and you don't pick up the phone you are not caring for your patients needs when they are most desperate. Why would anyone come here.

Terrible service argued with me about how their losing funding because of a county rabies outbreak I have nothing to do with wanting to get a spay/neuter for 4 kittens. Someone dropped a pregnant cat on our road and they were born outside we caught them, love em gonna keep them inside outside as they please, was gonna get em dewormed and vaccinated and spay/neutered for their safety and our neighbors outside cats. So my animals that are all vaccinated on flea meds every month, spay/neutered, fed and spoiled are not causing their issues, I have nothing to do with that as I want to vaccinate wild kittens and their mom we had done a month prior here at this planned pethood location and they charged me over $200 for a single feral cat if was done alright she healed but anyways, meaning I have no involvement in this outbreak. Being paranoid argumentative and combative is probably what is causing outbreaks to happen when you’re arguing and being unorganized with your patients and appointments. Finally got the kittens in, they go in for surgery we pick them up were there early for them and take the babies home, had a room prepared for them to heal up and get used to people and the house. I had been sitting with them in the car and got home let them in the room and out the carriers and looked at one of the kittens testicles immediately when we got home because I saw red and OMG. The knot they tied of his tubes inside POPPED OUT, they had put little to no glue on him and he was the heaviest of all the kittens, double the size of his siblings. I had to stay up all night watching him not be able to fall asleep in pain and his other ball had started opening up, he also had started to slow drip blood and clear liquid until I could get an appointment at an animal hospital SEPARATE from planned Pethood the next morning, a Saturday, the separate company vet handled him so well, pet him, took him to the back and told me everything glued him up and extra encouraged me that I was in the right for being upset that this shouldn’t of happened to this poor kitty. If you love cats, if you have anxiety, if you want GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, do not come here. On top of this whole situation on top of me moving and selling our house, I just got a worm on me from 4 kittens I paid to be dewormed and apparently weren’t. THE WORM WAS ALIVE AND WIGGLING SO, def shouldn’t see that 1 week after getting dewormed during their tnr… so upsetting I thought it was over but ima have to make sure that they were actuallly vaccinated and dewormed on top of having gotten the cat weird als balls glued back together after they were left insides out and have him on antibiotics for a week on a cat I was trying have warm up to me I’ll have to just restart this process. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS DO NOT GO HERE. IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY DO NOT GO HERE ABSOLUTELY RUDE STAFF, the front desk lady was very sweet but that is not what I came for is a nice front desk person, I wanted a qualified vet. A smart person who cares for animals and got some rushed unorganized rude treatment for quick cash for them to get more funding and I will never ever bring another animal here again in my entire life. Be nicer and smarter in you want more money, beggars can’t be choosers and choosing to go guns blazing attitude towards patients in so wrong.

We got there early and my kitty Henry was seen quickly! He was given medicine for his UTI and is on the road to recovery. The staff was very kind even though probably stressed because the power blinked and the computers were down for a bit. We were very pleased and are grateful 🙏.

Unethical. I didn't like coming here. The staff member that came to get my dog seemed distant, like she was bothered to talk to me. She was light skin, a bit on the heavy side (one of the technicians I believe). In addition, I just brought my puppy in for worms check up and a bit of infection in her ear. They never came out to explain the services and if I wanted to proceed except the receptionist (the proactive one) which while checking in told me about a test in the ear to check the infection and asked me if I wanted to do it. Besides her, everything else felt like a rip off. Nobody came out to tell me what they were planning on doing before proceeding. Instead, they came out with an expensive bill after they had done everything in which they had included a supposed wellness visit for almost $50 which I never asked for. I had called before to check on prices and they had told me that the visit was $15. Hence, I was counting on the $15, not on a supposed wellness $44 visit cost I never asked for. Totally unethical and cheaty. Also, being in the vet is scary for your pet. Pets are taken to the back and you don't know what they are doing or if they are doing what they said they did. Not a pleasant experience in this veterinary office.
