Really cool experience to watch planes take off from the rooftop. Note: this faces the departures runway so you can’t watch planes landing. Parking was a cluster. Couldn’t find a bartender (on two separate visits!) so we just bought cans of beer from the convenience store and brought them upstairs…

Great place to eat and hang out before a flight! We walked with our carry ons to the airport from here. Easy walk and nice to get a little walk in before a flight. We sat outside. Seemed like one waitress was serving the outside and inside area. She was working her butt off. I feel a little bad actually. It took a little while for the food to come out, about 45-50 mins after ordering. The atmosphere is great and everyone was happy.

Bonus points for the drink selection, which pairs perfectly with watching the planes come and go. Speaking of planes—this is hands down one of the best spots in Puerto Rico for plane spotting. You get a front-row seat to all the airport action, so if you’ve ever dreamed of pretending you’re an air traffic controller (without any of the actual responsibility), this is your place! The sight of jets taking off while you sip on a beer makes you feel like you’re about to embark on an adventure—even if you’re just heading home after. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a perfect pit stop whether you’re waiting for a flight, dropping off a friend, or just need an excuse to grab a drink near the airport. Final boarding call: If you haven’t been to The Flight Park yet, it’s time to book your trip (or at least your next dinner plans). This spot is officially cleared for takeoff!

Terrific way to wait for your flight or spend a few hours for no reason at all. Outdoor lower and upper decks afford fantastic views of incoming airplanes of all sizes, as well as those taxiing for take-off. Very thrilling. Lower area has bathrooms, a snack and gift store, as well as a bar. Lots of interesting historical information on the walls. Very cool place.
