The person at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude, condescending with zero empathy! Was it costly absolutely but everything is. I have on occasion gone to VCA and sorry that I didn’t this time. For those looking for an emergency hospital I 100% recommended VCA, everyone is friendly, front desk always attended just a friendly atmosphere all around. This is only my 2nd time EVER giving a bad review but well deserved.

We came in today because our dog was extremely sick—lethargic, swaying back and forth, acting drunk, and completely non-responsive. We told the staff this was an emergency. We arrived at 5:30 PM and were not seen until 7:30 PM. By that time, it was too late, and our dog had passed away. The staff assured us that this would be treated as a high priority, but it clearly was not. Their lack of urgency and delayed care cost our dog their life. This was a heartbreaking experience, and I cannot recommend this clinic.

$185.00 to take your pets vitals is ridiculous. My pet had a very visible hernia, and it was impacting his ability to walk. They took vitals. When we seen Dr. I was told it would be $1000.00+ to get a complete workup, but he noticed pet was walking perfectly fine. I asked him if he noticed the huge lump that appeared by his groin, and he nodded his head and again said he was walking fine. I set him down and my pet definitely was not walking fine. I denied his $1000 scam and was told they would send me home with pain pills for an additional $70+. I asked if he was in pain, and what was causing the pain because I had heard nothing that could potentially be a injury or anything that may cause pain. They weren't sure and couldn't tell me without their $1000 work up. When I denied the pain medicine because I'm not going to drug up my pet for no reason, they asked me is cost was an issue because the pills were actually only $48. No cost wasn't the issue, the issue was you can't even tell me if he is in pain, or what may be causing the pain, or what and where he would be in pain. $185.00 to tell me my pets vitals were good and he was stable is wild. Thank God he ignored his hernia because had he acknowledged it and said what it could have been, I probably would have fallen for the $1000 scam he "needed".

Staff is extremely nice. The dr saved our cats life. My cat Moon had a medical emergency which led to emergency surgery. He is doing so well. I couldn’t be more thankful.

​I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My dog, Ollie, recently had a terrifying medical emergency after getting a hold of my albuterol inhaler. I was in a complete panic when I rushed him to the Emergency Animal & Urgent Care, and from the moment we burst through the doors, the staff was simply phenomenal. ​They immediately understood the gravity of the situation, whisking Ollie back for treatment without a moment's hesitation. The entire team, from the front desk staff to the vet techs and the veterinarian, was not only incredibly skilled and professional but also so compassionate. They kept me informed every step of the way, explaining the treatment plan clearly and patiently answering all of my anxious questions. They treated Ollie with such gentleness and expertise, but they also took care of me, offering reassurance during one of the scariest moments of my life as a pet owner. ​Thanks to their swift action and outstanding care, my sweet Ollie is now home and recovering safely. I am endlessly grateful for the kindness, knowledge, and sense of urgency this team demonstrated. In a moment of sheer terror, they were a beacon of calm and competence. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for saving my boy
