Beautiful, well-maintained park that feels safe. Lots of people/families walking, running, biking. Great kids garden & playground. Wonderful other garden with identifying plaques, benches. Great place overall to get 10,000 steps in.

This was a fun surprise. Nice manicured grounds and wide walking trail. Has a lot of activities for kids from a train around the park and playgrounds. It is a bird watcher heaven. Paid parking is very reasonable. Boat rentals available and plenty of places to sit and relax. NOTE: no pets allowed. Walking and biking only.

This place is SO much fun! We rode the train twice, rented a surrey, enjoyed the playground, and toured the train museum. If you’re a birder, you’re sure to see some great birds while you visit. We spotted a bald eagle along with many unique waterfowl. If you’re into trains, the volunteers and conductors are so knowledgeable and the museum had so many cool and unique items. If you’re a kid, you can spend hours here enjoying the trains and playgrounds. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again!

Very nice park for walking, riding a bike, or renting a variety of peddle cars. A scenic park with paved paths and a boardwalk over the little lake. Shelters for parties, a water park is in the making as of the winter of 2026. There is a loverly garden area also. A nice park to spend part of your day there.

This park provides a very enjoyable experience whether you choose to walk the paths, reserve a pavilion or explore the numerous things to do. We had an absolute blast riding the mini train ($10 / person) which quickly transforms you into a kid (if you’re an adult) and provides so much fun as you enter a scale world of area landmarks and other creative features! Although we were a little disappointed that no bicycles were being rented out this particular day (reason unknown), it did not dampen our visit. Well worth the $5 dollars for all day parking!
