(from Google)My wife and I were out last Sunday and decided to grab lunch at Slider & Flight. We are glad that we did. Slider & Flight is the best of both worlds - it is a clean and spacious restaurant with the feel of a comfortable sports bar AND has a menu beyod that of most sports bars. We sat in a booth and were easily able to en gage in table talk with no sound interference. We started our meal with a "Wing Flight," made up of three sets of 4 wings - we had 4 Garlic Parmesan, 4 Buffalo and 4 Bourbon BBQ. The wings were all tasty and spot-on in flavor. My wife had a glass of wine (which she enjoyed but, alas, the name of which I cannot recall). Slider & Flight offers, as part of its "ALL DAY" Menu a "flight" (of 2 sliders) of 14 different kinds of sliders. There is a price for tyhe flight and a separate individual slider price, so that you can choose as many and whichever sliders you like. Slider chocies include buit aren't limited to Aussie Wagyu, Prime Rib, Gator, Bangin Shrimp, Blackened Grouper and Lobster Roll. My wife tried the Grouper and I had the Shrimp and we loved them. The flights come with a side. My wife liked the Caeser Salad side but raved about its dressing. I had fried sweet plantains which tasted great. For dessert, we shared a Carrot Cake and an Apple Bread Pudding For Two. Both were delicious. Our Server Tyler was stellar - he was very responsive without ever being instrusive. For an enjoyable meal in a very comfortable setting, you cannot go wrong at Slider & Flight. I plan on returning with friends/family again and again.
The venue is nicely laid out, not too noisy but def sports bar atmosphere, think upscale Buffalo wild wings. Our server was Juniper was incredible, definatly need to clone her, great service with a constant smile. We ordered theflights of beer and bourbon. The prices of both are impressive and even more so during happy hour. The whislte pig 15 year sample was an incredible price. The selections are plentiful and impressive on both, especially for the bourbons. Now for the sliders, We ordered the Nashvile chicken, Gator and Lobster. The portions were as expected for sliders no complaints there. If you want to be picky the cuts of meats made them difficult to grab or hold. The lobster slider was great, nice flavor, a nice portion of lobster. The Chicken was as advertised, SPICY, a little clumsy to eat or cut ( sharing) due to the chicken cut, none the less it was a good flavor. Now the gator slider. Stay away. It can only be described I imagine as if you were chewing a piece of rubber. I had an extremely hard time chewing and almost gave up. My wife literally took hers out after a minute or so of chewing. Jokingly i grabbed it, attempted to pull it apart , even cut it with a knife. NOPE. It would have made a great rubber washer. We didnt mind too much, we laughed it off, and joked with our server. She did mention they have trouble finding the right gator supplier. Unsure if true or not. We then ordered the wings, great sauce and crispy. Wife oreded the crab cakes. They be eliminate the fried outer layer, the crab itself was good, not the best. Overall we enjoyed the food, a good vibe there, great beer and bourbon selction. We will try actual dinner plates next time.
Stopped in for a quick bite and try the new place. We tried the smokehouse Nachos. They were ok. I was expecting more of a beer cheese flavor but just seemed like any other nachos cheese. I ordered the outlaw sliders. They were pretty flavorful. My husband liked his also which were grouper and lobster rool. We would come back for a game day as they have specials and plenty of TVs. Service was pretty good. We sat outside so it was very quiet and peaceful.
The menu is very unique! Absolutely try the Buffalo egg rolls. WOW! I cannot believe I've never had something like this before any where else! Also, the churro fries with toasted marshmallow fluff on them. Oh my. Addictive. The sliders are all fun and we enjoyed being able to pick and choose different ones. Cocktails are a little on the pricey side, but they offer over 50 different types of bourbon and the red sangria was amazing!! To the service, Juniper was so friendly, super fast and really made our first impression of this restaurant a positive one! She was so sweet, attentive to our needs and cleaned the table when we were finished. We will definitely return and hope to get her again!
I’ve been there a few times. We had the wings 3 different times. Twice, they were cooked perfect; crispy and moist. The other time, they were smaller wings and dried out. We had the nachos and was not a fan. The meat topping was some kind of glazed or bbq jerky or something. I would prefer a chili or other type protein. Also, add more layers of toppings. We had the sliders a couple times and they were delicious, served with crispy fries. We caught their happy hour last visit and it had some good specials. The bourbon flight and beers paired well. I would recommend this place, but can’t give the nachos my thumbs up. Everything else is worth the trip and service at the bar was outstanding.
