(from Google)Great paved trail for riding bikes or walking. Pretty flat, plus can go all the way to Richmond. Great place for first century ride.
We met a Trail Ambassador at the trailhead. He was friendly and helpful, giving good advice and taking a picture for us! I also appreciate the bench and bike tools available to riders.
Beautiful views, perfect for a bike ride even beginners.
This is the sort of bike path you find in The Netherlands and Belgium. Great pavement, signage, places to sit, air pumps every 10 or so miles apart. About 50 miles long, there are restaurants around the midpoint, and a visitors center at Charles City Courthouse where you can refill water bottles Cul's Courthouse Grille has water outside too. I can't say enough good things about it and suggest you donate to support them!
Nice paved trail! Scenic. Only did 6.5 miles to chickahominy park. Travels along main roads but still feels like your in nature. Saw deer jumping out of the woods. Nice workout. I can only imagine going all the way to richmond!
