This place is not too big and not too small, but it’s located right next to the road, so the air isn’t as fresh as other places—you can really notice the traffic smell and can’t take a deep breath of clean air. There’s also quite a bit of trash around, probably from the homeless nearby. Overall it’s okay for a quick stop, but nothing impressive enough to make me want to come back.

Beautiful day for a hike, and the trail is wonderful. I saw a giant owl fly across the river as I was hiking. So inspiring.

About two miles of additional hiking trail and improvements to an equestrian trail were dedicated today at the Walter Hill Trailhead on the North Murfreesboro Greenway. The trail follows the East Fork Stones River on the northeast side of Murfreesboro. Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District officials held a ceremony and cut a ribbon to celebrate the construction project.

Great Greenway trail for variety...hills (decent sized), bridges over water, great views, shaded & sunny, with two great resting spots! So thankful for this trail!
