Pet Urgent Care of Wesley Chapel

About two weeks ago, we noticed that our senior cat's breathing seemed abnormal. Unfortunately, it was late on a Friday heading into a holiday weekend. We monitored him closely, but it became clear that he needed medical attention. We brought him to Urgent Pet Care of Wesley Chapel and called ahead to make sure a veterinarian was available. Lauren was incredibly helpful on the phone and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. She made the intake process quick and seamless during a very stressful time. Herber, the veterinary technician, promptly assessed our cat and brought him back to be examined. After the evaluation, we met with Dr. Jones, who had the difficult task of delivering heartbreaking news about our beloved senior boy. Although the news was devastating, Dr. Jones was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. He took the time to explain everything with empathy and understanding. We ultimately decided to bring our sweet boy home so that our son could say goodbye and so he could spend a little more time in the comfort of his home. The entire staff was supportive and respectful of our decision. During one of the most difficult moments our family has faced, everyone treated us with genuine kindness, patience, and compassion. Their care extended beyond our visit—the office even called the following morning to check on us and see how we were doing. We are deeply grateful for the kindness, empathy, and exceptional care we received during such a painful time. Thank you to everyone at Urgent Pet Care of Wesley Chapel for helping us navigate our final days with our beloved companion.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pet Urgent Care and the care they provided for my cat, Shaka. Having a pet need emergency surgery is incredibly stressful, but from the moment we walked through the door, the entire team treated us with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made sure Shaka received the best possible care. It was clear that everyone genuinely cared about his well-being and wanted the best outcome for him. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and I always felt informed and supported. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, Shaka is on the road to recovery, and I am beyond grateful. I brought my cat because he was peeing blood. I called before and they were super nice and gave me great feedback. I came in and they took him immediately thankfully there wasn’t blockage so we waiting for the vet in a room. Everyone was super kind, prices were fair (didn’t feel pressured about getting everything if I couldn’t). Was there for about 2 hours, I thought that was good as they were urgent and obviously as cases came in that was emergency they tended to first like when I first came in to make sure my cat was okay. I really appreciated everyone single employees kindness, I feel way better and know my cat will to!

Four weeks ago, my 14 year-old German Shepherd, Kalvin, was having difficulty breathing due to age-related heart murmur. We called and were able to bring him in right away. There at Pet Urgent Care of Wesley Chapel, he received the most loving care we could ever asked for. Sadly, he passed away the next day despite the doctor's best effort, he went peacefully and pain free, which was what we had prayed for. Thank you, Dr. Worthington, Dr. Baker and Anthony, for your loving care for Kalvin. We truly appreciate you all!

My dog needed immediate medical attention on Thanksgiving. Dr. Jones was able to treat Mickey with care and compassion addressing the issue from a recent surgery. The experience for Mickey was painless and quick. My experience was wonderful with Dr. Jones and all the caring staff working that day. I was charged a reasonable price for the treatment provided. I recommend Pet Urgent Care to anyone for emergency treatment. Thank you Dr. Jones and staff for saving Thanksgiving!!
