South Golden Pet Hospital

I’ve used this vet twice for my little dog. The staff is super friendly, they listen, and patient with grumpy old dogs like mine. It’s nice to have vet that’s open on weekends in the area that it’s urgent care. I am considering changing them to my regular vet.

Our 4 month old kitten woke up on Sunday and couldn’t stand, walk, or control his movements. We rushed him over to South Golden Pet Hospital where we were met with a very kind gentleman who rushed him back to the doctor. The doctor saw him immediately and came up with a plan for treatment then came and talked to us. We agreed to the plan and they got started on his treatment and testing. We had to leave him for the day for IV fluids, testing and medication. We were called multiple times for updates and results. Once we picked him up they went over everything again and what to watch for/what we need to do. I of course forgot to ask a lot of questions so I called up there and they readily answered everything the evening of and the next day. Overall it was a great experience, the doctor and vet tech were both amazing, caring, and compassionate in our time of crisis. Also the price for an emergency situation was low compared to everything around. We will forever be grateful for helping us with our baby.

The doctor and staff was exceptional. My 14 months pup Bogey has been in animal shelter most of his life and is extremely hyper. I adopted him 2 months ago and undoubtedly had a bad experience in a pet clinic. He pulled out of his harness as soon as I opened the door. The staff helped me get him close to my truck and he jumped in. We finally got him in where they helped to calm him down. I would like to thank the doctor and staff for their service. Bogey will be back in 6 months with a better harness.

Excellent. We foster kittens and just had a little guy with some serious health issues it turns out. We drive 470 from I-70 to I-70 our first visit to get him there before they close as we live in Aurora and It was quicker than the straight shot down I-70. We are so thankful for them. We had to take him to the emergency room later that week and it wasn’t nearly as nice of an experience. They misdiagnosed him with something mild and he ended up having an enlarged heart and a murmur that Dr Red and the team at Golden picked up the next day after more tests. (Cat scans as my son says😄) It’s a hike for us but we will gladly make the trek in the future if the need arises. Thank you everyone for helping sweet Adam and being so kind to him and to us.

After seeing multiple veterinarians, and just not feeling like their priority was what was best for my dog, Ralphie (my chihuahua) and I met Dr.Redd. I knew I wanted and needed her to be Ralphie’s vet. She is patient and kind, she listens, answers all my questions, and sincerely cares about Ralphie and providing him the best care. The clinic staff are amazing as well; friendly, caring, and welcoming. Ralphie received the care I wanted for him. I only wish we had met her sooner, in the beginning of Ralphie’s illness. Dr. Redd and the staff were there for us when we needed them most. When the time came, at Ralphie’s end of life, they treated my sweet boy with so much care and compassion. Thank you for all you did for Ralphie, and for me as well. I’m relieved I have you all to care for my ‘critter crew.’
