Lakewood Pet Grooming (formerly Furtastic)

I am so grateful to Lakewood Pet Grooming. My pup is on leash reactive (even with years of training), has separation anxiety, and more than anything is LOUD (which has gotten us banned from places in the past as it makes other pet parents understandably nervous). She is the absolute light of my life but that combination of anxiety and noise is usually a hard no from many groomers. Not so with Lakewood Pet Grooming. Their curb service prevents dogs from interacting ensuring a safe environment. Their curb service also means that my pup can’t make everyone else’s parent nervous when my little one is being loud. As a graduate student, finding the kind of care she receives from her amazing groomer for an affordable price is rare. I am truly grateful for their kindness, patience, and deep care for every animal’s needs.

Oh my gosh! Lakewood Pet Grooming is the best!!! We have really struggled to find a good groomer. Our last experience was traumatizing for one of our dogs. Kay was fantastic with her and was able to clean her up with patience and kindness. She also groomed our other dog and it truly was the best groom we’ve ever had. She was so beautiful when she came out. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend them.

We have been taking our boy Sancho to Lakewood Pet Grooming, who is a senior Australian Shepherd and can have lots of anxiety with getting cleaned up for over a year now. Sarah, Alyssa, and the rest of the staff really have always taken great care of him while in their care for spa day and we have always appreciated that and have been beyond satisfied with all the services they provide! We will continue to get our boy deshedded and cleaned up here. Great prices and time expectations are very realistic considering how much work is being done!!

I’ve been taking my dogs here for a while and I’m always very pleased with their work. My dogs absolutely love Sarah and they always come out with a cute little bow tie or handkerchief whenever she grooms them!

This was a life changing experience! I really thought I was going to have to shave my dog. I attempted to groom my own dog but he is a long haired Aussie and it quickly went sideways . I scheduled an apt with Sarah. He came out looking his best! He got a sani cut that is the best I work I have seen! He is soft to the touch and zero fur comes off him when I pet him or cuddle him! He feels better and is prancing around happy as can be. 10/10 we will be coming back.
