(from Google)Killer spot, not much parking but we were lucky enough to get 1 of the 2 spots. Killer cliff views and a great spot to watch sunset. Waves are too big for the kids to play, but a great spot to explore.
A true hidden gem. Waves are rough and high, but the snorkeling is well worth the trip. I advise entering through the ruins on the north and driving through the dirt roads towards this beach. They'll be plenty of parking that way 4x4 recommened, but not required. If you enter the GOOGLE maps way parking is very limited (5cars) and there's a house on right that charges for parking. NEVER PAY for parking in Puerto Rico beaches, these beaches belong to the people of Puerto Rico! Enjoy !
Beautiful place. Stunning cliffs and nature. You can sometimes watch people surfing too! So lovely. Note: As seen in many other reviews - Pay a local $5 to park at their home so you don't get a ticket parking on the street. Also, research the tide and currents for the day. At high tide the shore disappears, you can tell by the steps to the left of the flag leads to crashing waves. Worth the visit at any time though!
Excellent beach for Snorkeling! Limited room for lounging. Gets deep pretty quickly and many rocks. Not ideal for young children, barbecues or laying about. If you want to see the sea life, then come here. No free parking and don't be tempted to park on road, tickets on every car on our return. Private parking available at $5. Just pay it. I was lucky to see plenty of sea life including a turtle. A good few sea urchins so be aware of putting your hands in unsuspecting holes! Personally I thought it was worth the $5 to park. Get some good Snorkeling in and then move on for lunch.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It’s a hidden gem with stunning views, crystal clear water, and a rugged natural vibe that makes it feel like your own private paradise. The waves were calm during my visit, and the water was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach itself is tucked away and not overly crowded, which makes it ideal if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. The rock formations around the area give it a unique look, and the contrast between the turquoise water and white sand is picture perfect. There’s not much in terms of facilities no bathrooms or food vendors so I recommend bringing everything you need for the day (snacks, water, sunscreen, etc.). But if you’re prepared, you’re in for a peaceful escape with one of the most scenic beach settings in Puerto Rico. Whether you’re looking to relax, explore the coastline, or take some amazing photos, Peña Blanca is definitely worth the stop.
